Member of Parole Board Appointed
Pursuant to section 31 of the Criminal Justice Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint Keith Menzies, Esquire, of Wellington, to be a member of the Parole Board on and from 2 August 1960 to 26 October 1960, to act temporarily in the absence from New Zealand of John Lochiel Robson, Esquire, Secretary for Justice.

Revocation of Appointment of Officer for the Purposes of the Food and Drugs Act 1947
Pursuant to the Food and Drugs Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General has revoked the appointment of Leonard Cecil Brice as an officer for the purposes of the Food and Drugs Act 1947.

Appointment of Licensing Authority to Exercise Jurisdiction in Respect of Certain Goods Service Licences
Pursuant to section 99 (3) of the Transport Act 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby determines that the No. 7 Transport Licensing Authority shall be the proper licensing authority to exercise jurisdiction in respect of applications by Griffin and Sons Ltd. and Aulsebrook and Co. Ltd. for the renewal of continuous goods service licences authorising the carriage of the licensees own products in the Numbers 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, and 11 Transport Districts.

Appointment of Customs Examining Place in New Zealand
Pursuant to section 20 of the Customs Act 1913, and to powers delegated to him by the Minister of Customs under section 11 of that Act, the Comptroller of Customs hereby appoints the premises described in the Schedule hereto to be a place for the examination by the Customs of goods subject to the control of Customs.

Declaration That a Reserve Form Part of the Te Awamutu Domain
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Te Awamutu Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Declaration That the Okere Falls Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve, Change of Purpose of the Reserve and Declaration That Land be Part of the Okere Falls Scenic Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Okere Falls Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953 and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, pursuant to the said Act, changes the purpose of the said reserve from a reserve for recreation purposes to a reserve for scenic purposes and declares the said reserve to form part of the Okere Falls Scenic Reserve, to be controlled and managed by the Rotorua County Council.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for scenic purposes described in the Schedule hereto.
