THE MILLERS FLAT RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Staff Housing Loan 1960 of £1,370
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Millers Flat Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £1,370 authorised to be raised by the Millers Flat Rabbit Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing suitable accommodation for the Board’s employees at Millers Flat, the said Millers Flat Rabbit Board makes a special rate of three-fifths of a penny per acre upon an acreage basis of all rateable land in the Millers Flat district; and that the special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 20th day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution duly passed by the Millers Flat Rabbit Board at a meeting held on the 25th day of July 1960.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION BY WAY OF SPECIAL ORDER
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1959, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Nelson City Council hereby resolves by way of a special order that instead of levying the special rates specified in the Schedule hereto, a uniform consolidated special rate of threepence and one hundred and twenty-nine five hundred and twelfths of a penny (3 129/512d.) on the rateable value (being the unimproved value) in the pound (£) on all rateable property within the City of Nelson be, and the same is hereby made an annually recurring rate for the purpose of paying the annual charges plus 10 per cent thereof payable in respect of the loans secured by those special rates.

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL
CONSOLIDATION OF SPECIAL RATES
NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed by way of special order at a special meeting of the Blenheim Borough Council held on the 22nd day of June 1960, and was duly confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Council held on the 27th day of July 1960.
“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1959, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Blenheim Borough Council, instead of levying the special rates specified in the Schedule hereto over the whole of the Borough of Blenheim or over any defined portion or portions thereof, doth hereby make by way of special order a consolidated special rate, on a uniform basis for the whole district, of twopence and four hundred and twenty-nine onethousandths of a penny (2·429d.) in the pound (£) on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough, and the said consolidated special rate is hereby made an annually recurring rate for the purpose of paying the annual charges plus 10 per cent thereof payable in respect of the loans secured by those special rates, and the same may be levied in whole or in part, year by year, without further proceeding of the Council.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR REFUSE TIP
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and amendments and the Counties Act 1956 and amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the abovementioned Acts, to execute a certain work, namely, the construction and formation of a refuse tip passing through or adjoining the several parcels of land referred to in the Schedule hereunder and situated in the Waikumete Riding of the County of Waitemata, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situated in the Council Chambers, 199 Karangahape Road, Auckland, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands must state their objection in writing and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.
