Notice is hereby given that, by duly signed entry in its minute book, the above-named company on the 1st day of August 1960 passed a resolution for voluntary winding up, and that a meeting of the creditors of the above-named company will accordingly be held at Room 514, Fifth Floor, Nathans Buildings, Grey Street, Wellington, on Thursday, the 11th day of August 1960, at 2.30 p.m.

Consideration of a statement of the position of the company's affairs and list of creditors, etc.
Nomination of liquidator.

Notice is hereby given that at a special general meeting of the Te Aroha Five Thousand Club Incorporated, held on the 30th day of May 1960, the following special resolution was duly passed:
“That the club be wound up voluntarily.”
Such resolution was confirmed at a further special general meeting held on the 4th day of July 1960.

APPLICATION TO DIVERT WATER
Notice is hereby given that Herbert Gardiner Gordon, of Alexandra, is applying to the Warden of the Otago Mining District for a licence to divert one-third of a head of water by means of a 2 in. pipeline out of the Manuherikia River from a point 14 chains below the railway bridge at Alexandra and terminating on the applicant’s property.
The application will be heard on Wednesday, 21 September 1960, at the Wardens Court, Cromwell.

NOTICE OF PRIVATE BILL
THE BRYANT HOUSE TRUST BOARD ENABLING ACT 1960
Notice is hereby given that the Bryant House Trust Board intends to present a petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand at the ensuing session for leave to introduce a Private Bill the short title of which is as above.
The object of the proposed Bill is to empower the Bryant House Trust Board to transfer the whole of its assets to the D. V. Bryant Trust Board.
The Bill is promoted by the Bryant House Trust Board whose address for service is at the offices of Messrs MacDiarmid, Mears, and Gray, Solicitors, Wesley Chambers, Victoria Street, Hamilton.
A copy of the proposed Bill may be inspected at the above address.

FRANKLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Mangatangi Hall Loan 1959, £4,300
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Franklin County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of four thousand three hundred pounds (£4,300) authorised to be raised by the Franklin County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of effecting additions and improvements to the Mangatangi Hall, the said Franklin County Council hereby makes a special rate of one penny and one farthing (1¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property appearing on the valuation roll for the Mangatangi Hall Special Rating Area of the County of Franklin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Franklin County Council on 25 July 1960.

MOUNT WELLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Mount Wellington Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £770,000, to be known as the Sewerage Reticulation Loan 1959, authorised to be raised by the Mount Wellington Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of sewer reticulation, the Mount Wellington Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three farthings (3/4d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value of property in the Borough of Mount Wellington, except properties comprised in valuation roll No. 256; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan for a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

TARARUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tararua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £29,000 (to be known as Pongaroa Feeder Loan 1960) authorised to be raised by the Tararua Electric Power Board in New Zealand by special order under the above-mentioned Act, and of all other Acts and authorities it thereunto enabling, for the purpose of providing a new feeder line from Mangamaire to Pongaroa, the said Tararua Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-eighths of a penny (7/8d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all the rateable property in the Akitio County together with part Dannevirke County forming part of the Tararua Electric Power District, as defined in the Gazette, No. 31, of the 22nd day of May 1958 at pages 652 and 653; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Tararua Electric Power Board on the 22nd day of July 1960.

WAIRARAPA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Reticulation Extension Loan 1960, £35,000
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of £35,000 authorised to be raised by the Wairarapa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the further reticulation of the Wairarapa Electric Power District, the said Wairarapa Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of one-fortieth of a penny (1/40th of d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Wairarapa Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 12 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board held on the 28th day of July 1960.

WEST HARBOUR BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Resolved that the West Harbour Borough Council apply to the Local Authorities Loans Board for permission to raise a loan of £11,000 for the purpose of street sealing in the Rothesay Ward of the Borough. Security for the loan, to be known as the Rothesay Street Sealing Loan 1957, £11,000, to be a rate of 3d. (threepence) in the pound on the rateable unimproved value of all property within the Rothesay Ward of the Borough.
