HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Waipiata-Patearoa Rabbit District Order 1960.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Waipiata-Patearoa Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 13th day of September 1943,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE WAIPAITA-PATEAROA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District and in the Maniototo and Taieri Counties containing 142,020 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Taieri River in line with the western boundary of Section 8, Block XV, Maniototo Survey District, and proceeding southerly to and along that boundary of Section 8 to its southernmost corner, along a right line to the westernmost corner of Section 2, Block XV, and along the western boundary of Section 1, Block XV, to the northern boundary of Section 22, Block I, Rock and Pillar Survey District; thence easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern boundaries of that Section 22, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the north-western boundary of Run 204c; thence generally north-easterly and south-westerly along the north-western and south-eastern boundaries of Run 204c and generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Runs 204d, 248J, 248k, 248L, and 248M to the most southerly corner of Run 248M; thence south-westerly along a right line to the northernmost corner of Run 599 and generally westerly along the northern boundary of Run 599 to its westernmost corner; thence generally southerly and south-westerly along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Run 254B and generally south-westerly and northerly along the south-eastern and western boundaries of Run 254c to the northernmost corner of Run 254D; thence along the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Taieri River; thence generally north-easterly along the middle of the Taieri River to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Run 308g; thence north-westerly to and along the south-western boundary of Run 308g to its westernmost corner; thence generally north-easterly along the generally north-western boundary of Run 308g to the north-eastern corner of Section 4, Block VII, Upper Taieriside Survey District, and the production of the eastern boundary of that Section 4 to the southern boundary of Run 308D; thence generally northerly along the western boundary of Run 308D to its northernmost corner; thence due east to the middle of the Taieri River; thence generally north-easterly along the middle of that river to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Pongakawa Rabbit District Order 1960.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Pongakawa Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 25th day of March 1942,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE PONGAKAWA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District in the Counties of Rotorua, Taupo, Tauranga, and Whakatane, containing 653,575 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the middle of the mouth of the Rangitaiki River with the shores of the Bay of Plenty, in Block V, Awaateatua Survey District, and proceeding southerly generally, up the middle of the aforesaid river to the north-eastern side of the Rotorua-Waikaremoana State Highway in Block XIII, Galatea Survey District; thence north-westerly generally along that north-eastern side to a point in Block VIII, Paeroa Survey District, due south of the southernmost corner of Rotomahana-Parekarangi 5B 1 Block; thence due north to and north-westerly generally along the south-western boundaries of Rotomahana-Parekarangi 5B 1, 5B 4B, and 5B 5B Blocks and the south-western and western boundaries of Rotomahana-Parekarangi 5B 5A Block, crossing the intervening Bretts Road to and along the generally northern boundaries of the State forest of 444 acres 3 roods 35 perches, and described in Gazette, 1929, page 231, to and along the north-eastern boundary of the State forest described in section 5 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1926 and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of parts Section 8, Block III, Paeroa Survey District, crossing the Rerewhakaite Road twice, to and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of part Rotomahana-Parekarangi 6A 2 No. 1B Block, crossing the intervening Rotorua-Taupo State Highway twice to the north-eastern side of that State highway; thence northerly generally along the said north-eastern side, the eastern side of Fenton Street, the southern side of Sala Street, the generally eastern side of Cemetery Road, and the southern side of the Rotorua-Whakatane State Highway, to and down the middle of the Puarenga Stream and along the eastern shores of Lake Rotorua to and along the north-western bank of the Ohau Channel and the western shores of Lake Rotoiti, to and down the middle of the Kaituna River and the Kaituna River diversion opposite the northern boundary of Section 1, Block VI, Te Tumu Survey District, to and south-easterly along the shores of the Bay of Plenty to the point of commencement.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the assignment to the Tuhoe Maori Trust Board by Poronui Stations Ltd., of their rights, powers, and privileges under an Order in Council dated the 11th day of November 1953, and published in the Gazette on the 12th day of the same month, at page 1798, authorising them to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee, hereby revokes the Order in Council dated the 1st day of October 1958, and published in the Gazette on the 2nd day of the same month at page 1314, authorising Samuel Andrew Esler, of Tutaki, Murchison, farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity and to erect and use certain electric lines.
