Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Main Road in the Borough of Upper Hutt, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Upper Hutt Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 1 to 15, L.T. plan 21761, within a distance of 20 ft from the side lines of the said street.

THAT proposed street in the Borough of Upper Hutt, Wellington R.D., containing 2 roods 10·87 perches, being Lots 16 and 17, L.T. plan 21761, being part closed road; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 686 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portions of Road in Blocks IX, XIII, and XIV, Paeroa Survey District, Rotorua County, to be County Road

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that portion of Butcher’s Road situated in Blocks IX, XIII, and XIV, Paeroa Survey District, commencing at the Rotorua-Taupo State Highway and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 2 miles, terminating at the southern boundary of Section 31, Block IX, Paeroa Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 551 (S.O. 37218) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.
Also all that portion of Jay’s Road situated in Block IX, Paeroa Survey District, commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 2, Block X, Paeroa Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 72 chains and terminating at the northern boundary of Section 30, Block IX, Paeroa Survey District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 551 (S.O. 37218) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked C-D.

PURSUANT to section 175 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Auckland City Council to reclaim from the sea at Judges Bay, Auckland Harbour, the land as shown edged pink on plan marked M.D. 10807 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Tokanui Rabbit District Order 1960.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
- The boundaries of the Tokanui Rabbit District which was constituted by Order in Council on the 22nd day of December 1954,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

BOUNDARIES OF THE TOKANUI RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Counties of Southland and Clutha, Southland and Otago Land Districts, containing by estimation 175,200 acres, more or less, inclusive of roads, railways, and streams, bounded by a line, commencing at a point on the right bank of the Mataura River in line with the southern boundary of Block IV, Toetoes Survey District; thence easterly across the Mataura River and a road reserve and along the southern boundaries of Blocks IV, V, and VI, Toetoes Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Block VI to the south-western corner of Block VII, Mokoreta Survey District; thence easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundaries of the said Block VII and the eastern boundary of Block IX, Mokoreta Survey District, to the south-western corner of Block X, Mokoreta Survey District; thence easterly along the southern boundaries of Blocks X, VIII, and XI, Mokoreta Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned block; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the said Block XI, to the south-western corner of Block X, Rimu Survey District; thence easterly and northerly along the southern and eastern boundaries of that block to the middle of the Tahakopa River; thence generally down the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 14, Block I, Tautuku Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary and south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the said Section 14 to a road and along a right line to the westernmost corner of Section 5, Block II, Tautuku Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of the said Section 5, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 3052, to a road and along a right line to the south-western corner of Section 2, Block II; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Sections 2 and 1, Block II, to a road; thence northerly along the western side of that road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 25, Block III, Tautuku Survey District; thence south-easterly to and along that boundary to the north-western boundary of Section 9, Block III; thence generally south-easterly along the north-western and south-western boundaries of the said Section 9, the north-western boundary of Section 10, Block III, the south-western boundaries of Sections 10, 11, and 12, Block III, and Section 16, Block IV, Tautuku Survey District, to a road and along a right line across that road to the angle opposite; thence generally south-westerly along the eastern side of that road to the northernmost corner of Section 31, Block IV; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of that section and generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of that Section 31 and Section 7, Block VIII, Tautuku Survey District, to a road and along a right line to the northern corner of Section 38, Block VII; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of that section and part Section 39, Block VIII, to the south-western corner of that section; thence south-westerly along a right line to a point in the middle of the Fleming River in line with the production of the south-eastern boundary of the said part Section 39; thence generally south-westerly down the middle of the Fleming River to its confluence with the Tautuku River; thence generally south-easterly down the middle of that river to a point in line with the production of the north-western side of the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 1B, Block IX, Tautuku Survey District; thence south-westerly to and generally south-westerly along the said north-western side of that road and its production to the sea coast, crossing the Waikawa River and the Haldane Estuary, to the Toetoes Harbour, being also the mouth of the Mataura River; thence north-westerly and north-easterly generally along the southern boundary of Toetoes Harbour and the right bank of the Mataura River to the point of commencement.
