COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a university; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of August 1960.

SCHEDULE

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 8 perches, situated in the City of Dunedin, being all the land in D.P. 3191, and being also part Section 57, Block XXIX, Town of Dunedin. All certificate of title, Volume 379, folio 230, Otago Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of July 1960.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of August 1960.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 17·2 perches, situated in the City of Christchurch, being Lot 1, D.P. 13451, being part Rural Section 84. All certificate of title, Volume 505, folio 140, Canterbury Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of July 1960.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 4·7 perches, situated in the City of Christchurch, being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 13180, being part Town Reserve 2. Balance of certificate of title, Volume 499, folio 75, Canterbury Land Registry.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of additional land containing 1 rood, situated in Block XI, Waihua Survey District, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being Waihua A 42A Block (formerly part Waihua 2c 5B 2 Block); as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 492 (S.O. 3254) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 39·6 perches, situated in Block I, Wairoa Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 1, D.P. 23228, being part Allotment 17, Parish of Maraetai; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 562 (S.O. 42125) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 3·43 perches, situated in the City of Wanganui, Wellington R.D., and being Lot 1, D.P. 16042, being part Section 227, Right Bank Wanganui River. Balance certificate of title, Volume 256, folio 275, Wellington Land Registry.
