HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Wanganui City Council to lay off the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged blue on the plan marked M.O.W. 212 referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 15 ft from the side line of the said street.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
That proposed street in the City of Wanganui, containing by admeasurement 30·57 perches, more or less, being part Lots 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38, D.P. 4913, being part Section 227, Right Bank Wanganui River; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 212 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Pursuant to section 3 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, at the request of the National Roads Board, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the construction of a motorway commencing at Newton Gully in the City of Auckland, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction to Dominion Road in the Boroughs of Mount Eden and Mount Albert.

Pursuant to the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 as amended by section 2 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1956, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the closing of the portion of the street known as Smith Street, in the City of Auckland, described in the Schedule hereto.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies an Order in Council made on 17 April 1958 and published in Gazette on 1 May 1958, Volume II, page 560, and affecting the Maori freehold land known as Pouakani Block (part) by declaring that portion of the said reservation, situated in the north-west corner and containing 2 acres, as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.A. 21/3/331 lodged in the Head Office of the Department of Maori Affairs at Wellington, and thereon edged red, shall be set apart as an urupa or burial ground for the owners of the said block and their families.
