BOROUGH OF PAPATOETOE
RESOLUTION
Consolidation of Rates
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, as enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1959, and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby resolves by way of special order that instead of leaving the special rates specified in the Schedule hereto, a uniform consolidated special rate of one shilling and three decimal point seven five five pence (1s. 3·755d.) in the pound (£) on all rateable property within the Borough of Papatoetoe be, and the same is hereby made an annually recurring rate for the purposes of paying the annual charges plus 10 per cent thereof payable in respect of the loans secured by those special rates, and the Papatoetoe Borough Council hereby further resolves that the consolidated special rate shall be payable in one sum on the 1st day of August in each year at the Borough Council Office, St. George Street, Papatoetoe, to Bertram Matthew Wilmshurst, Borough Treasurer, or at such other place or to such other person for the time being authorised by the Council.

ELLERSLIE BOROUGH COUNCIL
SECURITY RATE
THAT in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Ellerslie Borough Council resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of £6,000 authorised to be raised by the Ellerslie Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing funds for erecting pensioners’ flats the Ellerslie Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal two nine two (.292) pence in the pound on the annual value of all rateable property in the borough of Ellerslie; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such special loan and be a period of thirty (30) years or until the loan is fully paid.

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Depot Development and Plant Loan 1960, £12,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the loan of £12,000 authorised to be raised by the Tauranga County Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, for the purpose of building and equipping a new central depot at Tauranga and for the purchase of plant, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-tenth of one penny (1/10d.) in the pound upon the rateable (unimproved) value of all rateable property in the County of Tauranga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 7 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Tauranga County Council held on the 4th day of July 1960.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Wellington City Transport Loan 1960 of £1,282,230
THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 4th day of July 1960:
Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one million two hundred and eighty-two thousand two hundred and thirty pounds (£1,283,230) to be known as the Wellington City Transport Loan 1960 of £1,282,230 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of converting the remaining tram services to trolley-bus and diesel-bus operation and ancillary works, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of four hundred and eighty-seven eight-hundredths of a penny (487/800d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

PAHIATUA RABBIT BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the Pahiatua Rabbit Board held on the 1st day of December 1959, the following resolution was passed.
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Pahiatua Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the principal, interest, and other charges on a loan of £2,500 (to be known as Housing Loan 1959) authorised to be raised by the Pahiatua Rabbit Board in New Zealand by special order under the above-mentioned Act, and of all other Acts and authorities it thereunto enabling, for the purpose of providing staff housing, the said Pahiatua Rabbit Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. per acre on all rateable property in the Pahiatua Rabbit Board District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 20 years, until the loan is fully paid off.”
