COUNTY OF MANIOTOTO
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1908 and the
Counties Act 1956 and amendments thereto.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Maniototo (hereinafter called
the Local Authority) propose, pursuant to the provisions in
that behalf contained in the above-mentioned Acts, to execute
certain public works, namely, to provide for the sanitary
drainage of the County Town of Ranfurly, and for the purposes
of such public works, the lands described in the Schedule
hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further
given that a plan, No. S.O. 12910, of the lands so required
to be taken for the public works is deposited at the office of
the County Clerk, Pery Street, Ranfurly, and is open for
inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office
hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
works or by the taking of such lands should, if they have any
well grounded objections to the execution of the said public
works or to the taking of such lands, set forth their objections
in writing and send such writing, within 40 days of the first
publication of this notice, to the County Clerk of the Local
Authority at his office, Pery Street, Ranfurly.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land situated in the Maniototo Survey District
containing 3 acres 3 roods 8·4 poles, more or less, being part
of Section 11, Block VI of the said district; more particularly
shown on the said Survey Plan No. 12910, and thereon coloured blue,
and being part of the land comprised and
described in certificate of title, register book Volume 137,
folio 159, Otago Registry.

are required to be taken.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
works or by the taking of such lands should, if they have any
well grounded objections to the execution of the said public
works or to the taking of such lands, set forth their objections
in writing and send such writing, within 40 days of the first
publication of this notice, to the County Clerk of the Local
Authority at his office, Pery Street, Ranfurly.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land situated in the Town of Ranfurly
containing 15 acres 1 rood 10·8 poles, more or less, being
Sections 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22,
and 23, Block XIV of the said town, and being all the land
comprised and described in certificate of title, register book
Volume 139, folio 174, Otago Registry.

MASTER TON BOROUGH COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Masterton Borough Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a
transport station in the Borough of Masterton, and for the
purposes of such public work the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby
further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken
is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said
Council, situate in Chapel Street, Masterton, and is open for
inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office
hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or by the taking of such land who have any well
grounded objections to the execution of the said public work
or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in
writing, and send the same, within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council
Chambers, Chapel Street, Masterton.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 36·86 perches, more or less,
situate in the Borough of Masterton, being parts of Sections
5 and 7, Town of Masterton, and being the balance of all the
land included in certificate of title, Volume 344, folio 87,
Wellington Registry.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and
the Public Works Act 1928.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Masterton Borough Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute certain public works, namely, the widening of
Bannister Street in the Borough of Masterton, and the provision
of a transport station in the Borough of Masterton,
and for the purposes of such public works the land described
in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is
hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to
be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk
to the said Council, situate in Chapel Street, Masterton, and
is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary
office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public works
or by the taking of such land who have any well grounded
objections to the execution of the said public works or to the
taking of the said land must state their objections in writing,
and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication
of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers,
Chapel Street, Masterton.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land containing 31·4 perches, more or less,
situate in the Borough of Masterton, being parts of Sections
5 and 7, Town of Masterton, and being all the land in
Deposited Plan No. 4840, and being all the land included in
certificate of title, Volume 278, folio 144, Wellington Registry.
