Land Taken for the Development of Water Power (Substation)
in Block II, Invercargill Hundred

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of
water power (substation).

SCHEDULE

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 35·8 perches, situated in
Block II, Invercargill Hundred, being Lot 3, D.P. 4880,
being also part Section 4. Part certificate of title, Volume 187,
folio 246, Southland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 6th day of July 1960.

Easements Over Land Taken for a Camping Ground in Block
IV, Wairarapa Survey District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that easements are hereby taken
for a camping ground over the land described in the First
Schedule hereto, vesting in Her Majesty the Queen, first, the
full and free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity
to construct, use, reconstruct, inspect, cleanse, repair, renew,
and maintain a concrete settling tank and reservoir on the
land first described in the said First Schedule and to carry
out any other works that are deemed necessary by Her Majesty
the Queen to provide an unpolluted and adequate supply of
water to the said camping ground, secondly, the full and free
right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to convey
water from the said settling tank and reservoir to the said
camping ground along, under, or over the land first, secondly,
and thirdly described in the said First Schedule, and for that
purpose to lay, construct, place, reconstruct, inspect, cleanse,
repair, renew, and maintain a line of pipes along, under, or
over the said land first, secondly, and thirdly described in
the said First Schedule, and to use the said line of pipes for
the unimpeded conveyance of water; and thirdly, the full and
free right, liberty, licence, and authority in perpetuity to
construct and use a right of way over the land fourthly
described in the said First Schedule with the right for Her
Majesty's servants, agents, and workmen from time to time
and at all times hereafter, to go, pass and repass, with or
without horses or other animals or vehicles, over the said land,
and to maintain, repair, and keep open the said right of way
for the purpose of providing access to the land first described
in the said First Schedule, such easements to be appurtenant to
the land described in the Second Schedule hereto; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 18th day of July 1960.

FIRST SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block IV, Wairarapa
Survey District, described as follows:

A. R. P. Being
0 3 23·7 Coloured orange on plan.
0 1 29·7 Coloured blue on plan.

All being parts Lot 2, D.P. 16154, being parts Section 505,
Township of Featherston.

A. R. P. Being
0 0 15·07 Part Section 571, Featherston Suburban; coloured
blue on plan.
0 3 39·3 Part Lot 2, D.P. 16154, being part Section 505,
Township of Featherston; coloured orange
on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 160676 (S.O. 24488) deposited in the office
of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

SECOND SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 59 acres 1 rood 30 perches,
situated in Block IV, Wairarapa Survey District, Wellington
R.D., being Section 55 and part Sections 51, 52, and 54,
Featherston Suburban; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160676 (S.O. 24488)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon shown as Balance Area.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 6th day of July 1960.

Borough of Ellerslie

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 4 of the
Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Charles John, Viscount
Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule
hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton Motorway.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 perches, situated in Block
I, Otahuhu Survey District, Borough of Ellerslie, Auckland
R.D., and being part Lot 4, D.P. 6856, being part Allotment
7, Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 528 (S.O.
42123) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at
Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 6th day of July 1960.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th
day of July 1960.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block VIII, Waitemata
Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Being
0 0 4 Part Lot 4, of Block VI, D.P. 7513, being part
Allotment 114, Takapuna Parish; coloured blue
on plan.
0 0 3·4 Part Lot 3, of Block VI, D.P. 7513, being part
Allotments 105 and 114, Takapuna Parish;
coloured yellow on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan
marked M.O.W. 560 (S.O. 42085) deposited in the office of
the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 6th day of July 1960.
