A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of
February 1949, published in Gazette, 24 February 1949, Vol.
I, page 619, and registered as No. 3990, Wellington Land
Registry, defining the middle line of portion of the Wellington - Napier via Woodville Railway (portion of Rimutaka
Tunnel Deviation) in so far as it affects the land described
in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 14·65 perches,
situated in the Borough of Upper Hutt, Wellington R.D.,
being Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 21884, being part Section 121, Hutt
District. All certificate of title, Volume 736, folio 7, Wellington Land Registry (limited as to parcels).

ALL that piece of road containing 4·9 perches, situated in

by Proclamation No. 1878, Taranaki Land Registry, and

Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street in the City of New
Plymouth, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government House at Wellington this 6th day of

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the
New Plymouth City Council to permit the laying off of the
proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width
for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft,
subject to the condition that no building or part of a building
shall at any time be erected on Lots 9, 10, 18, and 19 of a
subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan
marked M.O.W. 483 referred to in the said Schedule within a
distance of 15 ft from the side line of the said street.

THAT proposed street in the City of New Plymouth containing
by admeasurement 1 rood 6 perches, more or less, being part
Lot 1, D.P. 3838, being part Sections 1, 2, and 9, Puketotara

particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 483 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured red.
