Price Order No. 1811 (Amendment No. 4 of Price Order No. 1800) (Meat Retail)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Price Tribunal hereby makes the following amending price order.

  1. This order may be cited as Price Order No. 1811 and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 1800* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

  2. This order shall come into force on the 4th day of July 1960.

  3. The principal order is hereby amended by revoking the Third Schedule thereto, and substituting the following Schedule.

“THIRD SCHEDULE

MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICES OF MEAT TO WHICH THIS ORDER APPLIES

THE maximum retail prices of meat of the kinds, grades, and descriptions specified in the Second Schedule, shall for each meat pricing district, be the basic retail prices for those kinds, grades, and descriptions plus or minus per pound the amounts specified hereunder:

New Zealand Honey Marketing Authority Election

(Notice No. Ag. 7017)

PURSUANT to clause (13) of the Schedule to the Honey Marketing Authority Regulations 1953, notice is hereby given that the roll of those persons deemed eligible to vote for the election of two producers’ representatives to the New Zealand Honey Marketing Authority, together with the number of votes allotted to each voter, will be open for inspection during office hours at the following places, viz, Department of Agriculture, Head Office, Wellington and at Auckland; also at the following post offices: Kaikohe, Dargaville, Kaitaia, Whangarei, Warkworth, Huntly, Hamilton, Tauranga, Rotorua, Te Aroha, Whakatane, Gisborne, Wairoa, Napier, Hastings, Waipukurau, Dannevirke, Wanganui, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Levin, Eketahuna, Masterton, Blenheim, Nelson, Motueka, Kaikoura, Westport, Greymouth, Hokitika, Culverden, Amberley, Christchurch, Ashburton, Geraldine, Timaru, Waimate, Oamaru, Roxburgh, Alexandra, Cromwell, Dunedin, Balclutha, Gore and Invercargill.

The roll will be available for public inspection for a period of 14 days from 27 July 1960.

Nomination forms may be obtained on application to any of the above offices or from the Returning Officer, Department of Agriculture, Private Bag, Auckland C. 1. Nominations must be in the hands of the Returning Officer not later than 12 noon on the 10th day of August 1960, and must be accompanied by a deposit of £3.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares that on the date of the publication of this notice in the Gazette the land described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the said land being so subject by virtue of a notice dated 5 May 1937 and published in the Gazette, 13 May 1937, Volume II, page 1147.
