Declaring Land to be Subject to the Provisions of Part XXIV

Notice of Intention to Destroy Public Records

Pursuant to section 17 of the Archives Act 1957, notice is hereby given of intention to destroy the following public records:

Patent Office

1. Obsolete files, which are closed parts of the current filing system, relating to accounts, office equipment, staff matters, monthly reports, routine office details, and circulars from other Government Departments.

2. Routine volumes relating to accounts, reminders, registered letters, and notice of patents having been deposited.

Any person may, within one month after the date of publication of this notice, lodge with the Secretary for Internal Affairs, Wellington, an objection to the destruction of the records specified above, stating therein the grounds of his objection. Such objections will be dealt with in accordance with section 18 of the Archives Act 1957.

Pursuant to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955,* the Commissioner of Transport hereby approves the Rangitikei County Council’s proposed classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto.
