Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 4 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1947, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the Auckland-Hamilton motorway.
