Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of Portion of the Wellington-Napier via Woodville Railway (Portion of Rimutaka Tunnel Deviation)

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of February 1949, published in Gazette, 24 February 1949, Vol. I, page 619, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3990, defining the middle line of portion of the Wellington-Napier via Woodville Railway (portion of Rimutaka Tunnel deviation) in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, Wellington R.D., described as follows:

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Waikato-Thames Railway.

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16163 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Gisborne-Rotorua Railway and the land in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road diversion in connection therewith.
FIRST SCHEDULE
FOR RAILWAY
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 16·8 perches.
Being part road adjoining the Gisborne-Rotorua Railway; coloured green.
Situated in Block IV, Ngatapa Survey District, Waikohu County. (S.O. 5167.)
SECOND SCHEDULE
FOR ROAD DIVERSION
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre and 24·6 perches.
Being part Gisborne-Rotorua Railway; coloured orange.
Situated in Block IV, Ngatapa Survey District, Waikohu County. (S.O. 5167.)
In the Gisborne Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16391 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of December 1959.

Cancellation of the Reservation Over a Reserve at Rarotonga, Cook Islands

At the Government House at Wellington this 23rd day of December 1959

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 361 of the Cook Islands Act 1915, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby cancels the reservation as a reserve for access to public buildings over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land situated in the District of Avarua, in the Island of Rarotonga, Cook Islands, containing 1 rood 17 perches, more or less, being part of the land known as Section 34, Avarua, taken by Order in Council dated the 24th day of April 1956; as the said part is delineated and edged red on the plan signed by the Resident Commissioner and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court at Rarotonga under No. 72.
