A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, that road being no longer required.
SCHEDULE
Marlborough Land District
All that piece of road containing 3 roods 7 perches, situate in Block IX, Linkwater Survey District, Marlborough R.D., adjoining or passing through part Sections 2 and 3, Mahakipawa Registration District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 235 (S.O. 4478) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 14th day of June 1960.

Revoking a Proclamation Taking Land for Housing Purposes in the City of Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 4th day of April 1960 and published in Gazette, 7 April 1960, No. 23, page 459, taking land for housing purposes in the City of Christchurch.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 19th day of May 1960.

Provisional State Forest Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby set apart the provisional State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
Southland Land District—Southland Conservancy
All that area in the Southland Land District, Wallace County, situated in Block XIX, Jacobs River Hundred, containing by estimation 28 acres, more or less, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on Ports Water Race in line with the northern boundary of Section 27, Block XVII, Jacobs River Hundred, and proceeding due west to the north-western boundary of the Sawmill Area 444B; thence north-easterly and easterly along the north-western and northern boundaries of the said Sawmill Area 444B to Ports Water Race; thence southerly generally along Ports Water Race to the point of commencement. Shown on plan No. 210/45 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of June 1960.

All those pieces of Crown land containing 3 roods 30 perches, situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District, Borough of Mount Roskill, Auckland R.D., and being Lots 25, 26, 29, 30, and 31, D.P. 46179. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 1118, folio 198, Auckland Registry.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Stratford-Kawakawa Railway.

Approximate area of the piece of additional land taken: 1 rood 39·6 perches.
Part road situated in Block III, Ohura Survey District, adjoining or passing through Stratford-Kawakawa Railway, adjacent to Niho-Niho station yard.
Situated in Taumarunui County. (S.O. 8867.)
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16581 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green, edged green.

Being part Rural Section 245.

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16518 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
