Directing Sale of Railway Land Near Kaihu Under the
Public Works Act 1928

At the Government House at Wellington this 15th day of
June 1960
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs
the sale of the land described in the Schedule hereto, such
land being no longer required for the public work for which
it was taken.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land directed to be sold:
Being
A. R. P.
2 3 7 Railway land, being portion of Opanake No. 1,
3046 No. 1; coloured red.
1 2 4·7 Railway land, being portion of Opanake No. 1c;
coloured blue.
Both in Block XIII, Tutamoe Survey District, and being
all the land in Gazette, 1899, page 163.
Situated in Hobson County. (S.O. 11355.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 8257 de-
posited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Conferring the Powers of a Tribal Executive Upon a Tribal
Committee

IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 7 of the Maori Purposes Act 1948,
His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby confers upon the Mangakino-Pouakani Tribal Commit-
tee all of the powers conferred upon a tribal executive by the
Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, including
the power to make bylaws, notwithstanding the provisions
of section 19 or section 20 of that Act.

PURSUANT to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby consents to the Waipa County Council stopping the
portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
All those pieces of road situated in Block XIII, Hamilton
Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Heaphy Street in the
City of Auckland, Subject to a Condition as to the Building
Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council,
hereby authorises the Auckland City Council to permit the
laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule
hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but
not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or
part of a building shall at any time be erected on a subdivision
of the land shown edged green on the plan marked M.O.W. 399
referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 15 ft
from the side line of the said street.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
THAT proposed street in the City of Auckland, containing by
admeasurement 1 rood 16 perches, being part Lot 15, D.P.
20428, and being part Allotments 335, 336, and 337, Waiko-

plan marked M.O.W. 399 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT
IN COUNCIL

the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon

Power Board of Certain Electric Works at Coromandel

At the Government House at Wellington this 22nd day
of June 1960
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 76 of the Electric Power Boards Act
1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
authorises the purchase by the Thames Valley Electric Power
Board of the electric lines and reticulation of the Strongman
Electric Supply Co. Ltd. at Coromandel, on the terms and
conditions set out in an agreement dated the 10th day of
June 1960 and made between the said board and the said
company, a copy of which agreement has been deposited in
the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at
Wellington.
