A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General
the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the
Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby
proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land
described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the
Queen by William Arthur Simpson, of Tokarahi, farm labourer,
under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity, Volume 118,
folio 75, Otago Land Registry, is hereby taken for the development
of water power (Livingstone Substation).

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres 1 rood 10·7
perches, situated in Block VII, Maerewhenua Survey District,
Otago R.D., being part Section 48; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161059
(S.O. 12782) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works
at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator
of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New
Zealand, this 19th day of May 1960.

Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby

hereto is hereby taken for sand-dune reclamation; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 30th day of May 1960.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 17 acres 2 roods 35 perches,
situated in Block VI, Kumeu Survey District, Auckland R.D.,
and being part Lot 3, D.P. 2370, being part Ruarangiharerere
No. 2 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on
the plan marked M.O.W. 184 (S.O. 41949) deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured yellow.
