PETITION FOR WINDING UP

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of
the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the
22nd day of April 1960, presented to the said Court by
Robert Donald Cox as Receiver and Manager for Ribbontex
Importing Co. Ltd. (in receivership), and that the said
petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at
Auckland on the 27th day of May 1960 at 10 a.m., and any
creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to sup-
port or oppose the making of an order on the said petition
may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel
for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished
by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said
company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated
charge for the same.

NOTE—Any person who intends to appear on the hearing
of the said petition must serve or send by post, to the above-

Court at Auckland, and must be signed by the person, or firm,
or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served, or,
if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach
the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later
than 4 p.m. of the 26th day of May 1960.

HENDERSON BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Station Loan 1959 of £15,500
THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Henderson Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £15,500 authorised to be raised by the Henderson
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of erecting a new fire station, the Henderson Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of forty-seven hundredths
of a penny (0·47d.) in the pound on the rateable unimproved
value of all rateable property in the Borough of Henderson;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the
1st day of June in each and every year during the currency
of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is
fully paid off.”
The foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of
the Henderson Borough Council held on the 7th day of
March 1960.

PUKEKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Pukekohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £16,600 authorised to be raised by the Pukekohe
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of providing accommodation for aged people, the
said Pukekohe Borough Council hereby makes a special rate
of decimal one four eight pence (·148d.) in the pound upon
the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of
all rateable property of the Borough of Pukekohe, comprising
the whole of the Borough of Pukekohe; and that the special
rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of
the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in
each and every year during the currency of the loan, being
a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of £8,000 authorised to be raised by the Feilding
Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of erecting pensioners’ flats, the said Feilding
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal
nought six one of a penny (·061d.) in the pound upon the
rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all
rateable property of the Borough of Feilding; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of
April in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the
Feilding Borough Council held on the 12th day of May 1960.

GISBORNE CITY COUNCIL

CONSOLIDATION OF SPECIAL RATES

PURSUANT to section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954, as amended by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations
Amendment Act 1959, the Gisborne City Council hereby
resolves by special order, instead of levying special rates to
meet the annual charges payable in respect of the loans specified
in the Schedule hereto, to make a rate on a uniform basis
for the whole of the City of Gisborne, herein referred to, as
a consolidated special rate on all rateable property within the
city of an amount calculated to yield 10 per cent more than
the annual charges payable in respect of the loans secured by
those special rates and may be levied in whole or in part year
by year without further proceeding by the Gisborne City
Council.”
