Crown Land at Porirua Set Apart for Railway Purposes Subject to a Building-line Condition

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes, subject to the building-line condition imposed by K. 42643, Wellington Land Registry.

And I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 23rd day of May 1960.

SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

All that piece of Crown land containing 2 roods 22·62 perches, situated in Block II, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., being Lots 53 to 56, D.P. 20846, being part Section 21, Takapu District. Formerly part certificates of title, Volume 400, folio 54, and Volume 419, folio 136, Wellington Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of May 1960.

Additional Land Between Mataroa and Taihape Taken for the Purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway and for Road Diversion in Connection Therewith

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the North Island Main Trunk Railway and the land in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road diversion in connection therewith.

FOR RAILWAY

Approximate areas of the pieces of additional land taken:

0 1 34·4 Part road; coloured green.
0 1 26·3 Part road; coloured green, edged green.
0 1 26·2 Part road; coloured green.
0 0 1 Part Lot 1, D.P. 3193, being part Awarua 4a 3c 8c.

All situated in Block XIII, Ohinewairua Survey District, Rangitikei County. (S.O. 24564.)

SECOND SCHEDULE
FOR ROAD DIVERSION

Approximate areas of the pieces of land taken:

0 0 24·9 Part railway land in Proclamation 301; coloured orange.
1 0 5·7 Part railway land in Proclamation 4687; coloured orange.

All situated in Block XIII, Ohinewairua Survey District, Rangitikei County. (S.O. 24564.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16514 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of May 1960.

Situated in Block XIV, Nukumaru Survey District, Waitotara County. (S.O. 24615.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16524 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 10th day of May 1960.
