Pursuant to section 2 of the Milk Amendment Act 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint

Appointment of the Boy Scouts’ Association of New Zealand to Control and Manage a Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the
Boy Scouts’ Association of New Zealand
to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a site for a scout hall.

Appointment of Member and Reduction in the Number of Members of the Denniston Domain Board
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints
Joseph Benedict Cotter
to be a member of the Denniston Domain Board, Nelson Land District, in place of Allan Edwin Waters, resigned, and consequent upon the resignations of Ivan Nicholas Kay, George Russell Gibson Gerrard, and Leslie Harold Ward, reduces the number of members of the said Board from eight to five.

Reservation of Land and Vesting in the Kaikohe Borough Council
Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto as a reserve for drainage purposes, and further, pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, vests the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Kaikohe, in trust, for that purpose.
