PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to approve the following appointments, promotions, extensions of commissions and dates of retirement, transfer, and terminations of commissions of officers of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Appointment
Flight Lieutenant Douglas Murray Dallison (79214) is granted a permanent commission in the General Duties Branch, Regular Air Force, with his present rank and seniority, with effect from 1 March 1960.

Extension of Commission
Flying Officer Michael Ernest Alwyn Dillon (596502) is granted an extension of his present commission until 19 April 1964.

PURSUANT to sections 222 and 464 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government has been pleased to appoint

Colin Kenneth McMahon, Legal Clerk, Wanganui;
Kathleen Pirihira Rangi, Welfare Officer, New Plymouth;
and
Norman Frank Tocker, Welfare Officer, Taumarunui;
being officers in the service of the Crown, employed by the Department of Maori Affairs in the positions set out opposite their respective names, as officers authorised to attest the signatures of Maoris to instruments of alienation of Maori land and to instruments by way of security within the meaning of the Chattels Transfer Act 1924.
