A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Major-General the Right Honourable Sir Harold Eric Barrowclough, the Administrator of the Government of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 6th day of June 1959 and published in Gazette, 11 June 1959, No. 34, page 748, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Dunedin as No. 7670, taking land for better utilisation.

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of road situated in Block XI, Ruakaka Survey District, Whangarei County, commencing at the north-eastern corner of Allotment 214, Ruakaka Parish, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally for a distance of approximately 220 links; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161489 (S.O. 41737) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A–B.
