(3) Roy’s Bay, being that portion of Lake Wanaka lying south generally of a right line running from Eely Point to the point where the northern bank of Scar Burn joins the said lake and, in addition, a strip of land one-quarter mile in width around the margin of the above-defined portion of that lake, such strip of land being extended to include the whole of the township of Wanaka.
(4) All that area bounded by a line commencing on the summit of Paddock Hill, situated in Titiroa Survey District; thence north-easterly by the right line between Paddock Hill and Trig. Station U in Block VII, Takitimo Survey District, to its intersection with the right bank of the Waiau River; thence north-westerly generally by the said right bank to the Manapouri accommodation house; thence northerly generally along the main road to the hatchery at Te Anau; thence south-easterly along the main Te Anau-Mossburn road to the summit of the range, being the northern end of the Ramparts; thence north-easterly along the summit of the range passing through Trig. Stations G, S, and A in Block II, Te Anau Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the summit of the range between the Fredburn and the Upukerora River to Snowdon; thence northerly generally along the summit of the Livingstone Mountains, passing through Mount Richmond, Winton Peak, Countess Peak, Moffat Peak, and David Peaks, to the summit of the range between Lake Fergus and Lake Howden; thence south-westerly generally along the summit of the range to Mount Anau; thence southerly along the summit of the range passing through Skelmorlie Peak and Largs Peak to a point due north of Mount Eglinton; thence due south by a right line through Mount Eglinton to the Eglinton River; thence south-westerly generally by the said river to Lake Te Anau and by the eastern shore of that lake to the Waiau River, down that river to Lake Manapouri, and by the eastern shore of that lake to the Waiau River; thence by a right line in the direction of the Monowai River where it flows out of Lake Monowai to a point due west of Paddock Hill; thence due east to the summit of Paddock Hill, the place of commencement, excepting the area of cultivated land approximately 2 miles long by half a mile wide in the Retford Valley on either side of the Retford River extending approximately 1 mile on either side of the two bridges across the Retford River on the Milford Sound Road.
(5) Part of Lake Wakatipu and surrounding land (Queenstown, etc.). All that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 4,400 acres, more or less, being part of the waters of Lake Wakatipu and land in the vicinity, commencing at Trig. Station I near Refuge Point in Block VII, Coneburn Survey District; thence bounded towards the south-west by a line to the southern corner of Section 28, Block I, Mid-Wakatipu Survey District; thence towards the north-west generally by the said Section 28; thence by a line from the south-eastern corner of the aforesaid section of the southern corner of Section 73, Block XX, Shotover Survey District; thence towards the north-west generally by Sections 19, 22, 8, by the crossing of a road, by the said road, and by Section 11, said Block XX; thence towards the east and north-east generally by Sections 75 and 32, said Block XX, to the southern side of Frankton Road; again towards the north-west by said road to the eastern boundary of the Town of Frankton; thence again towards the north-east generally by the eastern boundary of said town to the Kawerau River; thence across said river to the most northern corner of Block XII, Coneburn Survey District; thence by part of that block to a road; thence towards the south-east generally by said road to the most southern corner of Section 2, Block I, Coneburn Survey District; thence by a line to Trig. Sation I, being the commencing point.
(6) All that area commencing at the south-west corner of Section 9, Block III, Town of Glenorchy, and extending a distance of approximately 13½ chains in a south-westerly direction to the western boundary of Wharf Reserve, Block IV, Glenorchy District; thence in a north-westerly direction by the south-western boundary of Wharf Reserve for a distance of approximately 34½ chains to the north-western corner of the Wharf Reserve, then for a distance of approximately 20½ chains to a point on the edge of the Rees River in line with the south-western side of Butement Street; thence in a southerly direction back to the commencement point by the western side of Lake Road and Benmore Place.
Southland Acclimatisation District
(1) Stewart Island.
(2) Part of Lot 9, D.P. 99, being part of Section 261, Block LI, Hokonui Survey District, containing 1 acre, more or less, adjoining the boundary of part Lot 10, D.P. 99, being part of Section 261, Block LI, Hokonui Survey District, at a point where a lagoon intersects that boundary and as defined on the section by four posts painted white, and being the property of Mr James Watson of Pyramid.
(3) Lots 2 and 3 on D.P. 1291, part Section II, Oreti Hundred, containing 383 acres and 20 perches, and being all the land contained and described in certificate of title, Vol. 95, folio 25, Southland Registry, the property of Mr Mabin Smith.
(4) All that area in the Southland Land District, containing 13 acres 1 rood 23 perches, more or less, being part of Section 215, Block XLV, Hokonui Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by Wadworth-Lora Road, 1158 links; towards the south-east by a line parallel to Otapiri Gorge Road, 1158 links; towards the south-west by a line parallel to the Wadworth-Lora Road, 1158 links; towards the north-west by the Otapiri Gorge Road, 1158 links; be all the linkages a little more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked I.A. 52/77 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington.
(5) Two lagoons containing in all an area of approximately 14 acres, situated in Sections 55, 56, 68, and 69, Block VI, Jacobs River Hundred, being the property of the Riverton Athenaeum Committee, and leased to Mr A. J. Templeton, Otaitai Bush.
(6) Sections 56, 57 and 58, Block XIV, Invercargill Hundred, being the property of Mr Alexander Fraser, of Wallacetown.
(7) Sections 1, 2, 6, and 7, Block XLI, Invercargill Hundred, being the property of C. and E. McGearty, of Wallacetown.
(8) All that portion of the Makarewa River extending from the Makarewa railway bridge to Settlers’ bridge (approximately 2 miles).
(9) The property of Mr H. S. and Miss E. King, Wallacetown, being Section 3, Block XLI, Wallacetown, containing 12 acres 3 roods 27 perches, and being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 82, folio 203, Southland Registry.
(10) The property of C. J. Drain, Ohai, being part of Lot 1, D.P. 2662, being parts of Sections 20 and 20R, Block III, Wairio Survey District, containing 18 acres 1 rood 29 perches.
