and 144, Block X, Christchurch Survey District, to the
Pleasant Point bridge between Rural Section 11212 and
14342, Block XII, Christchurch Survey District, including the
Waimairi and Wairarapa Streams, Dudleys Creek, and all
other tributaries of the River Avon, and of the said streams
and creek.
Otago Acclimatisation District
(1) The lagoon know as Tomahawk Lagoon (Otago
Peninsula).
(2) The property of G. S. Bennett and W. A. Bennett as
follows:
Part Section 3A, Duncan Settlement, Block VIII, Dun-
edin and East Taieri Survey District; Lots 32 and 33,
Township of Brighton View (Plan 2643), and being
part of Section 52 and closed road, Block VIII, Dun-
edin and East Taieri District, and including that portion
of the stream known as Taylors Creek, between the
bridge and the sea.
(3) Sections part 1, 2, and 3, Block XV, East Taieri Survey
District, the property of Mr L. C. Hazlett.
(4) The lake known as the Blue Lake on the property of
Mr J. W. J. Pauley, part Block II, St. Bathan's Survey
District.
(5) Section 2, Block III, Serpentine Survey District. Occu-
pied by Mr. J. Neil Aitken, Glenayr, Paerau, Styx District.
(6) A section of the creek near the homestead of Mrs
R. J. E. Smith, “Lustleigh”, Wedderburn, being Section 5,
Block XI, Naseby Survey District.
(7) A pond on Mr G. Eaton’s property, Miller’s Flat, being
on Section XV, Block XII, Benger Survey District, Tuapeka
County.
(8) The property of Mr Arthur William Ericson, Tokanui,
being Section III, Part II, part Section VI, Block IV, Otara
Survey District.
(9) Ponds on the Homestead Block of the property of
Mrs E. M. Mathias known as “The Beeches”, Waipiata.
(10) A pond adjacent to the homestead on the property of
Mr Leonard Anderson, Galloway, Central Otago.
(11) The ponds known as the “Coalpits”, coming within
the boundary of the Wyndham Borough Council.
(12) Ponds on the property of Mr Robert W. Roberts at
Flag Swamp.
Rotorua Acclimatisation District
(1) Lake Rotoiti.
(2) Lake Rotoaira and the land within 1 mile of the shore
of the lake.
(3) All that portion of Lake Rotorua inside a line running
due east from the most northern point of Rotorua Wharf to
a point 200 yd from and due north of Motutara Point; thence
in a straight line to Motutara Point.
(4) Part of Section 4 and all of Section 5, Block VII,
Opotiki Survey District, containing 87 acres, and being the
property of Mr G. Gaskill, of Waioeka.
(5) Section 4s, Apanui Settlement, containing 57 acres,
and being the property of Mr F. C. Butt.
(6) Section 1s, Apanui Settlement, containing 83 acres and
being the property of Mr T. M. Davis.
(7) Section 5, Apanui Settlement, containing 57 acres and
being the property of Mr A. J. W. Kemp.
(8) That portion of Opoho Block, Wairoa, Block V,
Nuhaka Survey District, lying between the Wairoa-Gisborne
Road and the sea, being an area of approximately 350 acres,
the property of T. W. G. Tombleson, Esq.
(9) Section 7s, Apanui Settlement, Waioeka, Opotiki, con-
taining 52 acres and being the property of Mr K. Smith.
(10) Section 3s, Apanui Settlement, Waioeka, Opotiki, con-
taining 76 acres and being the property of Mr W. Carey.
(11) Section 2s, Apanui Settlement, Waioeka, Opotiki, con-
taining 66 acres and being the property of Mr B. Nicol.
(12) Section 6s, Apanui Settlement, Waioeka, Opotiki, con-
taining 65 acres and being the property of Mr C. L. De
Latour.
(13) All those areas in the Parish of Waioeka, the property
of Mr J. I. Gaskill, being Section 360 and closed road, 314
acres; 363A and part 372, 288 acres; Section 270A and parts
271, 284, and 284A, 332 acres; 270, 116 acres.
(14) All that area at Waihau Bay, Opotiki County, the
property of Mr J. Walker, being Matapata 2A, 2A Nos. 1 and
2, 2A, 2c, and 2B.
(15) Sections 113 and 114, Waioeka Parish, the property of
Mr W. Butler.
(16) Sections 102-5, 107-8, and 150, Waiotahi Parish, the
property of Messrs Bennett Bros.
(17) Blue Lake.
(18) Whakamahi. All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land
District, Block V, Clyde Survey District, containing by ad-
measurement 339 acres and 30 perches, being part Section 2,
Block V, Clyde Survey District, and being also part of all
the land in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 32, folio 93,
except that taken for road and railway by Proclamations No.
1333 and No. 1337; as the same is more particularly delineated
on plan marked M.D. 8549, deposited in the Head Office of
the Marine Department at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
(19) The artificial lake on the Hinemaiaia Stream comprising
the water impounded by the dam erected by the Taupo
Borough Council for hydro-electric power generation, and
a strip of land 5 chains in width surrounding that lake.
(20) All that land and portion of the waters of Lake Taupo
within a radius of 200 yd from the intersection of the shore of
Lake Taupo with the middle line of the Government wharf at
Motuoapa Bay
(21) All that land in the vicinity of Tuai, occupied by the
New Zealand Electricity Department, including therein the
villages of Tuai and Kaitawa and certain surrounding land.
(22) Matata Lagoon. All that area bounded by the
western bank of the Tarawera River from the bridge on the
main Whakatane-Tauranga highway to the river mouth; thence
north-westerly along the sea coast at low-water mark to a
point where a straight line drawn due north from the inter-
section of Awariki Stream and Arawa Street meets low-water
mark; thence southerly along a line marked by white-painted
posts to the above intersection; thence easterly along Arawa
Street (main Whakatane-Tauranga highway) to the point of
commencement, excepting therefrom the wildlife refuge and
public domain.
South Canterbury Acclimatisation District
(1) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, being
S.G.R. 94, and known as Mount Hay Station, bounded on
the east by the summit of the Two Thumb Range, on the
south by Runs 209 and 76, on the west by Lake Tekapo, and
on the north generally by Boundary Creek from its mouth
to its source in the Two Thumb Range; thence by a right
line to the summit of the said range, the place of commence-
ment.
(2) The property of the New Zealand Refrigerating Co. Ltd.
at Smithfield, containing 59 acres 3 roods 13 perches, being
Lot 27 on Plan 578 deposited in the office of the District
Land Registrar at Christchurch, and being all the land com-
prised in certificate of title, Volume 103, folio 262, Canterbury
Registry, bounded on the west generally by the South Island
Main Trunk Railway, on the east generally by the Waitarakao
Lagoon, and on the south by the Taitarakihi Creek.
(3) All that area in the Canterbury Land District, being
Run 77, and known as Richmond Station, bounded on the
east by the summit of the Two Thumb Range, on the south
by Boundary Creek from its source to Lake Tekapo, on the
west by Lake Tekapo to the mouth of Coal River; thence
by that river to its source; thence by a right line to the sum-
mit of the Two Thumb Range, the place of commencement.
(4) Lot 2, D.P. 9880, Block III, Arowhenua; property of
B. R. Gason.
(5) R.S. 29973, 26000, 29639, 20967, 19568, 19569, Blocks
VIII and XII, Opihi; property of J. M. Little.
(6) Lot D.P. 4612, part R.S. 22685, Block XV, Opihi; pro-
perty of J. W. Aitken.
(7) Lots 122 and 123, Block VII, Arowhenua, property of
G. Baikie.
(8) The property of Mr Stuart William Miller, Factory
Road, Temuka, being Lots 4 and 5, D.P. 7120, part R.S.
9001-2, 9023, and 12169, Block XV, Geraldine Survey District.
(9) The property of David Brown, Milford, Temuka, being
R.S. 5894, 8790, 22930, and 4. Lots 2 and 4, D.P. 9739, R.S.
4325, Part 43, 23-4, 5895, Block 4, Arowhenua Survey Dis-
trict, plus the foreshore adjoining the said David. Brown’s
property, the whole area being bounded by Brown’s Road in
the south and Mrs Gale’s property, “Riverslea”, on the north
and west.
(10) The property of Mr S. J. Lister, being R.S. 5871, part
4187, Block III, Arowhenua.
(11) The property of Mr F. R. Woodhead, being R.S. 4770
Block III, Arowhenua.
(12) The property of Mr G. D. P. Henderson, Totara Val-
ley, Pleasant Point, containing 136 acres and 10 perches,
being Lot 1, D.P. 14110, R.S. 37531, “Meadowvale”, Farm
Settlement, Block III, Pareora Survey District.
(13) Lake Murray, being a lake approximately 5½ acres in
extent lying north-east of Lake Alexandrina near the Glenmore-
Tekapo road, and on the property of Mr G. G. Murray.
(14) F. R. Clarke’s property, Levels, comprising 260 acres
and 17 perches, being Lot 2, D.P. 19656, R.S. 14228, and part
R.S. 13680, 14323x, 16358, 17236, 19512, Block VIII, Pareora,
Block V, Arowhenua Survey District.
(15) W. J. Brown’s property, Levels, comprising 129 acres
1 rood 10 perches, being Lot 1, D.P. 19656, R.S. 14228 and

Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District
(1) All that area in the Otago Land District containing by
admeasurement 517 acres, more or less, being part of the
Town of Kinloch, and adjoining part of Lake Wakatipu, and
bounded as follows: Towards the north by the northern side
of Loch Carron Street; towards the east by the eastern side
of Navis Street and the production of that line southwards for
6167·3 links; towards the south by the southern boundary of
Section 13, Block II, being 5094 links in all; and towards the
west by the western side of Islay Street and the production of
that line southwards for 4170·5 links; and excepting from the
said parcel of land Sections 1 to 5, Block I, Sections 3, 4, and
27, Block XVII, Section 6, Block XVIII, Sections 3 to 7, 10
to 13, Block XX, Sections 8 to 15, Block XXI, Town of
Kinloch. As the same is more particularly shown on plan
marked L. and S. 23/807 deposited in the Head Office of the
Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington.
(2) The Haast River watershed, including the Landsborough
and Clark Valleys.
