The Conway Rabbit District Order 1960 (Notice No. Ag. 6952)

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 6th day of April 1960
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Conway Rabbit District Order 1960.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Conway Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 17th day of November 1948, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE CONWAY RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, County of Kaikoura, containing 246,000 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the mean high-water mark of the sea and the middle of the Conway River; thence proceeding westerly and northerly generally along the middle line of the said Conway River to its source; thence northerly generally along a right line to Palmer Saddle in Block XI, Acheron Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along the summit of the Seaward Kaikoura Range to Triangulation Station R on the boundary between Block VII, Kaitarau Survey District, and Block VIII, Puhipuphi Survey District; thence generally south-easterly along the northern boundaries of S.G.R. 105B and S.G.R. 106 to the north-eastern corner of the said S.G.R. 106; thence southerly and south-easterly generally along the eastern and north-eastern boundaries of the said S.G.R. 106 to its easternmost corner; thence south-westerly generally along the south-eastern boundary of the said S.G.R. 106 to the western corner of Part 3A of 2, Mangamaunu Maori Block in Block XV, Puhipuphi Survey District; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundaries of Parts 3A of 2 and their continuation to the mean high-water mark of the sea; thence generally south-westerly along the said mean high-water mark to the point of commencement.

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Ahuriri Rabbit District Order 1960.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Ahuriri Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 20th day of March 1957,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE AHURIRI RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District and in the Counties of Vincent and Waitaki, containing 199,800 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the summit of Mount Huxley in Hunter Survey District; thence generally southerly along the summit of the Barrier Range to Mount Peterson;
thence generally southerly, south-easterly, and south-westerly along the eastern, north-eastern, and south-eastern boundaries of Run 94 to Snowy Gorge Stream; thence generally south-westerly down the centre of Snowy Gorge Stream to its confluence with the Ahuriri River; thence generally south-easterly down the centre of the main stream of the Ahuriri River to a point in line with the western boundary of Run 201B, Ahuriri Survey District; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary to the junction of the Dunstan Range and Wether Range; thence generally south-westerly along the summit of Dunstan Range through Trig. Z to the north-eastern boundary of Run 235c, Lindis Survey District; thence generally north-westerly and south-westerly along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Run 235c to the confluence of Pass Burn and Breast Burn; thence generally northerly and westerly up the middle of Breast Burn to the north-eastern boundary of Run 236; thence north-westerly along that boundary to and north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of Run 335B and north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Run 335B and its production to the middle of Dingle Burn; thence generally north-easterly up the middle of Dingle Burn to the southern boundary of Stafford Survey District; thence south-westerly along that boundary to the south-western corner of Run 94; thence generally north-easterly along the north-western boundary of that run to the point of commencement.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette. - The boundaries of the Hawea Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 24th day of August 1949, are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
BOUNDARIES OF THE HAWEA RABBIT DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, County of Vincent, containing 151,200 acres, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at a point 5 chains north-east of The Forks at the source of the Hunter River in Hunter Survey District; thence proceeding south-easterly along a right line to Mount Huxley; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundary of Run 94 to its south-western corner; thence north-easterly along the southern boundary of Run 94 being the southern boundary of Stafford Survey District to the middle of Dingle Burn; thence generally south-westerly down the middle of Dingle Burn to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Run 335B; thence generally south-easterly and south-westerly to and along that boundary to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Run 236; thence generally south-easterly to and along that boundary and south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of that run to its southernmost corner; thence along a right line across a road to Trig. J on the eastern boundary of Run 236c; thence generally south-easterly along the eastern boundaries of Runs 236c and 236E and generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Run 236E to its southern boundary; thence westerly along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of Section 4, Block VII, Tarras Survey District; thence southerly along the eastern boundary of that section and its production to the middle of the Clutha River; thence generally north-westerly up the middle of that river to its confluence with the Hawea River; thence generally up the middle of that river to Lake Hawea; thence generally north-easterly to and along the eastern shore of Lake Hawea and the eastern bank of the Hunter River to the point of commencement.
