Declaration That Land is a Public Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Tawa Borough Council on the 28th day of October 1959:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 13 of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Tawa Borough Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the said borough in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby declared to be a public reserve for recreation purposes within the meaning the said Act.”

Declaration That Private Land be a Private Historic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the private land described in the Schedule hereto to be a private reserve under Part V of the said Act subject to the provisions of the agreement dated 10 February 1960 and deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington as Canterbury Deed No. 1651.
