At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 14th day of March 1960
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
ALL those pieces of road situated in the Halswell Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 0 0·1 Lot 4, D.P. 7688, and Lot 1, D.P. 17204, being parts Rural Section 249A; Block III.
0 2 0·1 Rural Sections 976 and 212; Block VII.
0 0 0·5 Rural Section 212; Block VII.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160900 (S.O. 9438) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Authorising the Laying Off of Cubbin Street in the Borough of Gore, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 8th day of March 1960

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Gore Borough Council to permit the laying off of Cubbin Street described in the Schedule hereto at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 161181 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 35 ft from the centre line of the said street.

THAT street in the Borough of Gore known as Cubbin Street, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 8 perches, being part Lot 2, D.P. 417, being part Section 313, Block LXXI, Hokonui Survey District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161181 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

The Oakura Cemetery Order 1960

PURSUANT to the Cemeteries Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER
-
(1) This order may be cited as the Oakura Cemetery Order 1960.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April 1960. -
The Taranaki County Council is hereby appointed to be the trustee of the Oakura Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, and shall have control and management of that cemetery under and for the purposes of the Cemeteries Act 1908.

(1) The delegation to the Taranaki County Council of the powers of appointing and removing trustees of the said cemetery made by Order in Council dated the 18th day of September 1933* is hereby revoked.
(2) The said Order in Council is hereby accordingly amended by omitting from the second column of the Schedule the word “Oakura” where it appears opposite the reference to the Taranaki County Council in the first column of that Schedule.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District containing 2 acres, more or less, being Section 27, Oakura Town Belt, situated in Block II, Wairau Survey District, as shown in the plan marked 191/2/214 deposited in the office of the Department of Health at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Exempting Land in the South Auckland Land District from the Operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE
THE land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.

SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land situated in the Land Registration District of Auckland, containing 1 rood 7 perches, more or less, being Lot 29, D.P. 17389, and being part of Allotment 79, Parish of Pepepe, excepting thereout all veins, seams, and beds of coal, fireclay, and all minerals whatsoever in, upon, or under the said land, and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Register Book Volume 1298, folio 74 (South Auckland Registry), subject to mining easement created by conveyance No. 173870 (R. 112/262) and confirmed by deed 178252 (R. 120/516).
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 11th day of March 1960.

PURSUANT to the Coal Mines Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE
- The land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby exempted from the operation of Part III of the Coal Mines Act 1925.
- The said land is hereby declared to be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 6 acres 2 roods 2 perches, more or less, being part of Section 164 and part of the northern portion of Section 163 of the Parish of Waipa, and being all the land on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 5107 and being the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 183, folio 129, Auckland Registry.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General this 11th day of March 1960.
