Leasehold Estate in Land Taken for State Housing Purposes in the City of Napier

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by George William Smith, of Napier, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease No. 10232, and the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by John Wallace Johnston, of Napier, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease No. 10233, and the leasehold estate in the land thirdly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Percy William Clarke, of Napier, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease No. 10234, and the leasehold estate in the land fourthly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by George Hagen, of Napier, farmer, and Margaret Ann Hagen, his wife, under and by virtue and Crown Lease No. 10264, and the leasehold estate in the land fifthly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by James Edward Lyford, of Napier, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease No. 10235, and the leasehold estate in the land sixthly described in the said Schedule, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Stanley Raby Wright, of Napier, farmer, under and by virtue of Crown Lease No. 10236, are hereby taken for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of January 1960.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of January 1960.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XI, Ruakaka Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160828 (S.O. 41827) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
