Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Road in Block IX, Paekakariki Survey District, and Block III, Belmont Survey District, viz, Portion of the Haywards-Pahautanui Road

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 14th day of July 1937, published in Gazette, 22 July 1937, Vol. II, page 1661, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 2587, defining the middle line of a road in Block IX, Paekakariki Survey District, and Block III, Belmont Survey District, viz, portion of the Haywards-Pahautanui Road, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 7 acres and 5 perches, situated in Block IX, Paekakariki Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Section 99, Pahautanui Agricultural Reserve. All certificate of title, Volume 573, folio 38, Wellington Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 15th day of December 1959.

PURSUANT to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SECTION 149, Block XVI, Otahoua Survey District, and Section 3, Block III, Wainuioru Survey District, situated in Masterton County: Area, 11 acres 3 roods 1 perch, more or less. Shown on plan No. 94/3 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 23494.)

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—WESTLAND CONSERVANCY

RESERVE 2045 (formerly part Section 32, Block I, Ahaura Survey District), situated in Block I, Ahaura Survey District: Area, 41 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less.

Reserve 2046 (formerly part Rural Section 3018), situated in Block I, Ahaura Survey District: Area, 2 acres and 6 perches, more or less.

Reserve 2047 (formerly part Rural Sections 2904 and 3194), situated in Blocks I and II, Ahaura Survey District: Area, 23 acres 3 roods 33 perches, more or less.

Reserve 2048 (formerly part Section 2, Block II, Ahaura Survey District), situated in Block II, Ahaura Survey District: Area, 2 acres 2 roods 3 perches, more or less.

As shown on plans Nos. 120/76 and 120/77 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered blue. (S.O. Plans 4835 and 4836.)

As shown on plan No. 210/44 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured red. (S.O. Plan 6320.)

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 18th day of January 1960.

ALL those pieces of land together containing 2 roods 26·5 perches, situated in the Borough of Putaruru, being Lots 19, 34, and 42, D.P. S. 3063, being part Mangakaretu No. 1 Block. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 1219, folio 35, Auckland Land Registry.

Declaring an Area in the Waimate Acclimatisation District to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Waimate Acclimatisation District for the purpose of the Wildlife Act 1953.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost corner of Lot 70, D.P. 1885, in Block IV, Elephant Hill Survey District, and proceeding south-westerly along the north-western side of the Deep Creek - Kurow Main Highway 120; thence north-westerly along the north-eastern side of that highway and Serpentine Valley Road to the angle on that roadside fronting part Lot 99, D.P. 1889; thence along a bearing of 56° 50′ to the generally north-eastern boundary of Lot 70, D.P. 1855; thence south-easterly generally along the generally north-eastern boundaries of that lot to the point of commencement.

As shown on the plan marked I.A. 52/463 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of December 1959.
