Additional Land at Otahuhu Taken for the Purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Kaipara-Waikato Railway.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of additional land taken: 22 acres.
Being part land on D.P. 3981, being part Fairburn’s Old Land Claim 269A.
Situated in Block VI, Otahuhu Survey District, Manukau County. (S.O. 41911.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16476 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 3rd day of March 1960.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street in the Borough of Waitara, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 29th day of February 1960

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Waitara Borough Council to lay off the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 75, 76, 77, 78, 82, 83, 84, and 85 of a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 161134 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 35 ft from the centre line of the said street.

That proposed street in the Borough of Waitara containing by admeasurement 1 rood 3 perches, more or less, being part Sections 4 and 6, Block XLVI, part Sections 3 and 5, Block XLVII, and part Victoria Street, duly closed, Town of Waitara West; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161134 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill, and be under the control and management of the Invercargill City Council.
