Land Taken for Better Utilisation in the City of Auckland

COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of March 1960.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

ALL those pieces of additional land situated in the Borough of Opotiki, Gisborne R.D., described as follows:

1 0 0·3 Allotment 317, Section 2, Town of Opotiki; coloured orange on plan.
0 3 32·7 Part Allotment 318, Section 2, Town of Opotiki; coloured blue on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 161115 (S.O. 5153) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

ALL that piece of additional land containing 1 acre, situated in the Borough of Opotiki, Gisborne R.D., and being Lot 278 of Section 2, Town of Opotiki. All certificate of title, Volume 75, folio 227. (Limited as to parcels.)

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre 2 roods, situated in the Borough of Waitara, Taranaki R.D., being portion of a street called Broadway, duly stopped, and lying between Blocks CXVII and CXVIII, Town of Waitara West. All certificate of title, Volume 144, folio 156, Taranaki Land Registry.
