Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land for the purposes of the Land Act 1948 as from the 23rd day of February 1959, subject as to Lot 70, D.P. 19992, to the fencing agreement contained in memorandum of transfer No. 274971, Auckland Land Registry, subject as to Lot 27, D.P. 45465, to the building-line restriction contained in K. 64022, Auckland Land Registry, and subject as to Lot 2, D.P. 45998, to the fencing agreement contained in memorandum of transfer No. 44238, Auckland Land Registry.

Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land in the Borough of Waipukurau for a Public School, Being Land Adjoining the Present Site of the Central Hawke’s Bay College and Required for an Extension Thereto

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for a public school. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Waipukurau and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

ALL that piece of land containing 10 acres, situated in the Borough of Waipukurau, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being part Lots 9 and 10 on a subdivisional plan of part Block 16, Waipukurau Crown Grant District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158070 (P.W.
