Declaring Kakapo Road and Luxmore Road, in the Wallace County, to be County Road

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of December 1959

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the First and Second Schedules hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of road known as Luxmore Road, situated in Blocks II and V, Mararoa Survey District, Wallace County, commencing at the junction with the Lumsden - Te Anau - Milford Sound Main Highway No. 134 and proceeding north-easterly generally through Lots 1 and 2 of Run 301c for a distance of approximately 4 miles 8 chains; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160575 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that portion of road known as Kakapo Road, situated in Blocks VIII and IX, Mararoa Survey District, Wallace County, commencing at the junction with the Lumsden - Te Anau - Milford Sound Main Highway No. 134 and proceeding north-easterly generally through Run 301B for a distance of approximately 5 miles 66 chains; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160576 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Consenting to Land Being Taken for Street in the Borough of Oamaru

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the land described in the Schedule hereto being taken for street.

ALL those pieces of land in Block XC, Town of Oamaru, Otago R.D., described as follows:

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street Off Eskdale Road in the Borough of Birkenhead, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of December 1959

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Birkenhead Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on a subdivision of the land edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 160686 referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 15 ft from the side line of the said street.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

THAT proposed street in the Borough of Birkenhead containing by admeasurement 1 rood 9 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 131, Parish of Takapuna; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160686 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street Off Cook Street in the Borough of Howick, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 8th day of December 1959

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Howick Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft but not less than 45 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, and 13 of a subdivision of the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 160658 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 30 ft from the side line of the said street.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

THAT proposed street in the Borough of Howick, containing by admeasurement, first 1 rood 33 perches, more or less, being part Allotment 10 and part Lot 5, D.P. 30883, being part Allotment 10, Section 7, Small Lots near Village of Howick; and secondly, 0·4 perches, more or less, being part Lot 4, D.P. 30883, being part Allotment 10, Section 7, Small Lots near Village of Howick.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160658 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. W. NASH, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Timaru City Council to lay off the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft, but not less than 42 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land edged green on the plan referred to in the said Schedule as P.W.D. 160656 within a distance of 33 ft from the centre line of the said street.

SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that proposed street situated in the City of Timaru, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 9·4 perches, and being Lots 23 and 24, L.T. P. 20526, being part Rural Sections 2334 and 2683; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160656 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
