Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Green Island
to the Purposes of a Street
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I,
Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of
New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication
hereof in the Gazette, become a street and that the said street
shall be under the control of the Green Island Borough
Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like
manner as other public highways are controlled and main-
tained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE
Approximate area of the piece of land: 16·4 perches.
Being part Section 85, Block V, Lower Kaikorai Survey
District.
Situated in the Green Island Borough. (S.O. 12816.)
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16365 deposited in
the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and
thereon coloured sepia.
Given under the hand of His Excellency, the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 2nd day of December 1959.

Declaring an Area in the Auckland Acclimatisation District
to be a Wildlife Refuge

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Charles
John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zea-
land, hereby proclaim and declare the area described in the
Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge in the Auckland
Acclimatisation District for the purpose of the Wildlife Act
1953.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
LOT 2, D.P. 38501, being Allotment 85 and part of Allotments
26 and 77, Wairoa Parish, situated in Block VII, Wairoa Sur-
vey District: Area, 37 acres 1 rood 27 perches, more or less.
All certificate of title, Volume 1010, folio 12.
As shown on the plan marked I.A. 52/492 deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, at Wellington,
and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency
the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the
district valuation rolls for the districts enumerated in the
Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at
30 November 1959.
