A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Land Proclaimed as Road
ALL those pieces of land situated in Block VII, Maketu Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

0 0 0·22 Part Maungarangi B. No. 1J Block; coloured red, edged red, on plan P.W.D. 160644. (S.O. 24390.)
0 0 39 Part Maungarangi B. No. 1H Block; coloured yellow on plan P.W.D. 160645. (S.O. 39442.)
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.
SECOND SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
Road Closed
ALL that piece of road containing 1 rood 35·6 perches, situated in Block VII, Maketu Survey District, Auckland R.D., and adjoining or passing through part Maungarangi B. No. 1H Block and part Maungarangi B. No. 1J Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160644 (S.O. 24390) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 2nd day of December 1959.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of road containing 1 rood 12 perches, situated in Block IX, Wakapuaka Survey District, Nelson, R.D., adjoining part Section 11, District of Brook Street and Maitai and Section 19; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160619 (S.O. 10140) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

ALL those pieces of road in the Otago Land District, Otago R.D., described as follows:

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 14th day of December 1959.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the South Auckland Land District containing 1 rood 11·9 perches, situated in the Town District of Murupara, being Lots 8 and 9, D.P. S. 4671, being part Section 17, Block XIII, Galatea Survey District. Formerly part certificate of title, Volume 1211, folio 256, Auckland Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 4th day of December 1959.

Allocating Land Taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road at Otiria
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road and that the said road shall be under the control of the Bay of Islands County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
