A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the
Avondale-Onehunga-Southdown Railway.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 roods 2·7
perches.

Being part Lot 2, D.P. 21153, being part Allotment 57,
Titirangi Parish.

Situated in Block IV, Titirangi Survey District, Borough of
Mount Albert. (S.O. 41755.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16324 de-
posited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington,
and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,

in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of
the Waitaki-Bluff Railway.

Being part of Wharf Street (part Otago Harbour Board
Endowment).

Situated in the City of Dunedin. (S.O. 12604.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particu-

the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and
thereon coloured sepia.

November 1959

Present:

THE HON. C. F. SKINNER, M.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby varies
an Order in Council made on 15 August 1956 and published
in Gazette on 23 August 1956, Volume II, page 1128, and
affecting the land known as Motatau No. 4B 6, by deleting
therefrom the words “members of the Ngatihine tribe” and
substituting therefor the words “the Maori people of the
Ngapuhi, Ngatiwhatua, Te Rarawa, Aupouri, and Ngatikahu
tribes and all other Maori people resident in Tai Tokerau”.
