A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of street containing 1 acre 2 roods 0Β·3 perches, situated in the Borough of Hokitika, Westland R.D., and adjoining Reserves 108 and 152; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160510 (S.O. 4853) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of November 1959.

ALL that piece of street containing 4 perches, situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D., adjoining Lot 5, D.P. 1069, and Lot 365, D.P. 16154, being parts Rural Section 2392; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 160512 (S.O. 9573) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of November 1959.

Altering the Boundaries of the Otago Electric Power District

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Otago Electric Power District so as to include therein the areas described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Otago Land District comprising portion of Maniototo County, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Run 225AA, Block IX, Gimmerburn Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the north-western boundaries of Runs 225AA, 225DD, 225T, 225U, 225V, 225W, 261K, and Sections 2 and 3, Block XI, Gimmerburn Survey District, to the north-western corner of Block V, Gimmerburn Survey District; thence generally easterly along the southern boundary of Block XI aforesaid to and northerly along the eastern boundary of Block XI aforesaid to and easterly along the northern boundary of Block III, Gimmerburn Survey District, to and northerly along the western boundary of Block I, Gimmerburn Survey District, to the north-western corner of Block I aforesaid; thence along a line due north to and north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of Run 225AA aforesaid to the point of commencement.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District comprising portions of Maniototo, Taieri, and Tuapeka Counties, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Run 620, Poolburn Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the eastern boundary of Vincent County as described in Gazette, 1954, at page 298, to a point due north of Trigonometrical Station Y, Block VII, Long Valley Survey District; thence generally southerly along the watershed through Trigonometrical Station Y aforesaid, Trigonometrical Stations F and D, Long Valley Survey District, Trigonometrical Station Q, St. Bathans Survey District, and Trigonometrical Station H, Lammerlaw Survey District, to the northernmost corner of part Run 527, Hedgehope Survey District; thence generally south-easterly and south-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of part Run 527 aforesaid and the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of part Run 525 to and along Deep Creek to and south-easterly along the Waipori River to and along the north-eastern boundary of Run 494, Tuapeka East Survey District, to its junction with a road; thence generally westerly along the northern side of the aforesaid road to the western boundary of Block XII, Tuapeka East Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundaries of Blocks XII and IX, Tuapeka East Survey District, to the north-western corner of Section 10, Block IX aforesaid; thence generally easterly along the northern boundaries of Sections 10 and 11, Block IX aforesaid, and Section 3, Block VIII, Tuapeka East Survey District, to and generally south-easterly along the Waitahuna River to the north-western corner of Section 1, Block IX, Waipori Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 1 and 5, Block IX aforesaid, to the north-western corner of Section 2, Block IX aforesaid; thence generally easterly along the southern side of a road along the watershed to the north-eastern corner of Section 10, Block XV, Maungatua Survey District; thence north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of Sections 6, 16, and 56, Block XV aforesaid, to and generally easterly along the middle of the Waipori River to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Block II, Maungatua Survey District; thence north-easterly to and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 30, Block XV aforesaid, and across a road to the southernmost corner of Section 31, Block XV aforesaid; thence north-westerly along the south-western boundary of Section 31 aforesaid to its westernmost corner;
