Street Closed in the City of Napier and Added to Land Acquired for the Purposes of the Housing Act 1955

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the street described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby closed and added to the land acquired for the purposes of the Housing Act 1955 described in the Second Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of street in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situated in the City of Napier, Hawke’s Bay R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining or passing through
0 0 19·7 Lot 48 and part Lots 19 and 20, D.P. 6257, part Te Whare-O-Maraenui Block.
0 0 1·2 Part Lot 20, D.P. 6257, part Te Whare-O-Maraenui Block.
0 1 34·9 Part Lots 20, 21, 35, and 39, D.P. 6257, part Te Whare-O-Maraenui Block.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158143 (S.O. 3096) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the Hawke’s Bay Land District containing 234 acres 3 roods 28 perches, situated in the City of Napier, Hawke’s Bay R.D., and being all the land comprised and described in the Second Schedule of Proclamation No. 116164, Hawke’s Bay Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of February 1959.

Declaring Land in a Roadway Laid Out in Block X, Whangara Survey District, to be Road
COBHAM, Governor-General
A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 421 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto and comprised in a roadway laid out by the Maori Land Court by an Order dated the 28th day of October 1954 to be road.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of roadway in the Gisborne Land District containing 4 acres 1 rood 30 perches, situated in Block X, Whangara Survey District, Gisborne R.D., and being part Whangara B 2B. Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158009 (M.L. 4965) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of February 1959.

Altering the Boundaries of the Westland Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the Westland Electric Power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area comprising the Borough of Hokitika as at present constituted, as the said area is shown outlined in red on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 508 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Altering the Boundaries of the North Canterbury Electric Power District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby alter the boundaries of the North Canterbury Electric Power District so as to include therein the area described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area situated in the Marlborough Land District, being portion of the Kaikoura County, bounded by a line commencing at a point where the production of the north-eastern boundary of Section 17, Block XVIII, Hundalee Survey District, intersects mean high-water mark; thence proceeding north-easterly generally along the mean high-water mark to its intersection with the right bank of the Kahutara River; thence northerly and westerly along the right bank of the Kahutara River to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of S.G.R. 90, Block V, Hundalee Survey District; thence across a public road to the north-eastern boundary of S.G.R. 90 aforesaid; thence southerly and westerly generally along the eastern and southern boundaries of S.G.R. 90 aforesaid and the southern boundaries of S.G.R. 89, Block V, Hundalee Survey District, and Section 2, Block IV, Hundalee Survey District, to the south-western corner of Section 2 aforesaid; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of S.G.R. 87, Block IV, Hundalee Survey District, to the south-western corner of S.G.R. 87 aforesaid; thence along the southern boundary of a public road to its western side; thence northerly along the western side of the said public road to the south-eastern corner of S.G.R. 86, Block III, Hundalee Survey District; thence south-westerly and southerly along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of S.G.R. 86, Block III, Hundalee Survey District, S.G.R. 156, Block IX, Hundalee Survey District, and S.G.R. 157, Block XIII, Hundalee Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of S.G.R. 157 aforesaid; thence westerly, southerly, and south-westerly generally along the southern boundary of S.G.R. 157 aforesaid, the eastern boundary of Section 4, Block XIII, Hundalee Survey District, and the south-eastern boundary of Section 6, Block XIII, Hundalee Survey District, to its junction with the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 1131; thence south-easterly and southerly generally along the north-eastern and eastern boundaries of the said part Lot 1 to a point in line with the northern boundary of part Section 4, Block XXI, Hundalee Survey District; thence across the Picton-Christchurch State Highway, to and along the northern boundary of part Section 4 aforesaid and the northern boundary of part Section 5, Block XXI, Hundalee Survey District, to the western boundary of Section 13, Block XXI, Hundalee Survey District; thence northerly generally along the western boundaries of Sections 13, 12, 11, Block XXI aforesaid and Section 17, Block XVIII, Hundalee Survey District, to the northernmost corner of the said Section 17; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 17 and its production across the South Island Main Trunk Railway and a road to mean high water-mark of the sea, the point of commencement.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 506 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington, and thereon outlined in red.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for railway purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 16th day of February 1959.

ALL that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 1 rood 34·47 perches, situated in the City of Palmerston North, Wellington R.D., being part Lot 7, D.P. 693, being part Rural Section 420, Township of Palmerston
