PURSUANT to section 7 of the Maori Purposes Act 1948, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes
the Order in Council dated 6 February 1957, and published
in Gazette, 14 February 1957, Volume I, page 213, conferring
the powers of a tribal executive upon the Orimupiko Tribal
Committee.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets
apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule
hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a marae
and church site for the common use and benefit of the
Ngatihine Tribe in particular and Tai-Tokerau in general.

Buckley Drainage District Abolished

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 28th day of
October 1959
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Local Government Commission Act 1953, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.
ORDER
- On and from the 1st day of November 1959, the Buckley Drainage District is hereby abolished and the Buckley Drainage Board is hereby dissolved.
- On and from the date aforesaid all the property, debts, liabilities, and engagements of the Buckley Drainage Board shall vest in and become the property, debts, liabilities, and engagements of the Manawatu Catchment Board.
- Subject as otherwise provided herein, the abolition of the Buckley Drainage District shall be deemed to have been effected under the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941 and the Land Drainage Act 1908.
