Declaring Road in Block II, Clyde Survey District, to be Government Road

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of September 1959

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.

HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of road situated in Block II, Clyde Survey District, Hawke’s Bay R.D., described as follows:

Authorising the Laying Off of an Extension to Pinny Avenue in the City of Lower Hutt, Subject to a Building-line Condition

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of September 1959

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Lower Hutt City Council to permit the laying off of the proposed extension to Pinny Avenue, described in the Schedule hereto, at a width of less than 66 ft, but not less than 40 ft, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land fronting the proposed extension to Pinny Avenue, described in the said Schedule, within a distance of 15 ft from the side lines thereof.

THAT proposed street situated in the City of Lower Hutt, Wellington R.D., containing 11·61 perches, being Lot 3, L.T. Authorising Motuopa Lodge and Motels Ltd. to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the County of Taupo

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 1st day of September 1959

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises Motuopa Lodge and Motels Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Motuopa (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.

CONDITIONS

IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935 shall be incorporated in and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

  1. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1935, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

  1. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraph (a) of regulation 21–01 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1935.

DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. Unless sooner lawfully determined this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1980 or until electrical energy is available from an electric power board or some other public source of supply, whichever is the earlier.

SCHEDULE

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s generator and proceeding in a north-easterly direction to motels and thence in a north-westerly direction across the National Park - Taupo Main Highway to a lodge; the said buildings being situated in all that land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 691, folio 279 (Auckland Registry), and the said lines and buildings being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 348 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Authorising Albert Christopher Dawson, of Half Moon Bay, Stewart Island, Fisherman, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby grants to Albert Christopher Dawson, of Half Moon Bay, Stewart Island, fisherman (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), a licence subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines hereinafter described.

SCHEDULE

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s generator situated in part Section 10, Block II, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction to a house situated in Section 9, Block II, and thence in a southerly direction to a house situated in part Section 10, Block II aforesaid.

All being situated in Subdivision Section 8, Block I, LTP 1369, Town of Oban, Paterson Survey District, in the County of Stewart Island, the said lines and buildings being more particularly shown on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 520 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.
