Vesting Picton Wharf in Marlborough Harbour Board

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 5th day of August 1959

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Marlborough Harbour Act 1958, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares to be vested in the Marlborough Harbour Board, firstly, all the railway land described in the First Schedule hereto, subject however to all existing leases, grants, licences, and easements which henceforth shall be in the name of the Marlborough Harbour Board as if the same had been validly granted by the said Board and, secondly, all the assets described in the Second Schedule hereto and that this Order in Council shall take effect as from the 8th day of August 1959.


FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land in the Marlborough Land District, situated in Block XII, Linkwater Survey District, Marlborough R.D., described as follows:

66 0 10 Railway land being part of the land in Gazette, 2 April 1908, page 1035 (Proc. 88); coloured orange on plan and situated in the Borough of Picton, and County of Marlborough.
5 0 0 Railway land being all of the land in Gazette, 28 June 1951, page 899 (Proc. 802); coloured orange, edged red, on plan and situated in the Borough of Picton.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16060 (S.O. 4427) deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Adding Land to the Abel Tasman National Park

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 10 of the National Parks Act 1952, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto, shall as from the date hereof be added to and form part of the Abel Tasman National Park and shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with by the Abel Tasman National Park Board in accordance with the provisions of the said Act.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 13, and Lot 1, D.P. 5732, being part Sections 4 and 5, Block III, Totaranui Survey District: Area, 212 acres 1 rood 10 perches, more or less. All certificates of title, Volume 42, folio 258, and Volume 151, folio 12, and part certificate of title, Volume 28, folio 27. (S.O. Plan 5920.)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Tokoroa Rabbit District Order 1959.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Tokoroa Rabbit District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 26th day of November 1923,* are hereby altered and redefined and, as from the commencement of this order, the boundaries of the said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE TOKOROA RABBIT DISTRICT

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District in the Matamata County containing 186,800 acres, more or less bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the right bank of the Waikato River (Arapuni Lake) with the production westerly of the northern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 21950, in Block VIII, Wharepapa Survey District, and proceeding easterly generally along the southern boundary of the East Waikato Rabbit District as hereinbefore described to the eastern boundary of the Matamata County as described in Gazette, 1950, page 277, in Block V, Horohoro Survey District; thence southerly generally along the aforesaid county boundary to its intersection in Block III, Atiamuri Survey District, with a right line joining a point bearing 20° 17′ 30″ distant 2828·4 links from the northernmost corner of Lot 6, D.P. S. 1533, and peg XXIV, shown on S.O. 31518 at the junction of the Old Putaruru Road and the Wairakei-Tirau State Highway; thence westerly along the aforesaid right line to the said peg XXIV and again southerly along another right line to the angle in the south-western boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 12322, bearing 311° 23′ 45″ distant 2362·4 links from the western side of the aforesaid State highway; thence along the aforementioned south-western boundary to and southerly along the western side of the aforesaid State highway to the right bank of the Waikato River in Block VI, Atiamuri Survey District; thence westerly and northerly generally along the said right bank to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF THE PUKERAU RABBIT DISTRICT

ALL that area containing by estimation 129,200 acres, more or less, inclusive of all roads, railways, and streams, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the northern side of the Waikaka-Kelso road in line with the western boundary of Glenkenich Survey District; thence due south along the
