Revoking Part of a Proclamation Taking Land for the Development of Water Power (Roxburgh Power Scheme) in Block I, Fraser Survey District, Block VI, Cairnhill Survey District, Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District, and in the Borough of Alexandra

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of July 1957 and published in Gazette, 25 July 1957, Volume II, page 1362, taking land for the development of water power (Roxburgh Power Scheme) in Block I, Fraser Survey District, Block VI, Cairnhill Survey District, Block VII, Leaning Rock Survey District, and in the Borough of Alexandra, in so far as it affects the pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block VI, Cairnhill Survey District, Otago R.D., described as follows:

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152728 (S.O. 11899) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes at Melling to the Purposes of a Street

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street; and that the said street shall be under the control of the Lower Hutt City Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner, as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land allocated to street: 28·34 perches.
Railway land, being part Proclamation No. 4500. Situated in Block VIII, Belmont Survey District, City of Lower Hutt. (S.O. 24397.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 16086 deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 22nd day of July 1959

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Education Act 1914, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
THE order and regulations relating to the constitution of the Board of Managers of Pukekohe High School, made by Order in Council on the 3rd day of August 1953 and published in the Gazette on the 13th day of August 1953 at page 1308, is hereby amended by revoking paragraph (g) of the order, and substituting the following paragraph:
“(g) One manager elected by the School Committees of the Patumahoe, Mauku, Puni, Paerata, Pukekohe, Pukekohe East, Bombay, Harrisville, Buckland, Tuakau, Ramarama, Ararimu, ·Whangarata, Pokeno, Mercer, Meremere, and Pukekohe North Public Schools, and the Pukekohe Maori School:
Provided that the Minister of Education may from time to time, by notice in the Gazette, amend the list of schools to which this paragraph applies.”

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Morrinsville, and be under the control and management of the Morrinsville Borough Council.

ALL that access way containing 4·8 perches, situated in Block VI, Maungakawa Survey District, Borough of Morrinsville, being Lot 2, D.P. S. 5881, being part Motumaho No. 2 Block. Part certificate of title, Volume 1428, folio 8, Auckland Land Registry.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Main South Road in the Borough of Green Island, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Green Island Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for the whole of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 45 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 158986 referred to in the said Schedule, within a distance of 15 ft from the eastern side line of the said street.
