PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Land Proclaimed as Road

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Waitaki Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

0 0 21·7 Part Lot 5, D.P. 1094, being part Rural Section 22167; coloured blue, edged blue, on plan.
0 2 21·6 Part Lot 4, D.P. 1094, being part Rural Section 22167; coloured blue, edged blue, on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Road Closed

ALL that piece of road containing 3 roods 39·1 perches, situated in Block I, Waitaki Survey District, Canterbury R.D., adjoining Lot 3, D.P. 1094, being part Rural Section 22114, and part Lot 4, D.P. 1094, being part Rural Section 22167; coloured green on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 159515 (S.O. 9534) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 21st day of July 1959.

ALL that piece of road containing 15 acres and 18 perches, situated in Blocks VI and VII, Arawhata Survey District, Westland R.D., adjoining or passing through part Reserves 236 and 1692; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 159523 (S.O. 4842) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

ALL that piece of road containing 12·9 perches, situated in Block I, Maramarua Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Proclamation No. 16304, Auckland Land Registry; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 156009 (S.O. 40629) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, edged yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of July 1959.
