Road to the western boundary of the Borough of Taumarunui
at the south-eastern corner of Section N 2E 3G 2D, Block 2,
Piopiotea West Survey District, being a distance of 17 miles
52 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly
delineated on plan P.W.D. 159003 deposited in the office of
the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured
green.
Also all that public highway in the Borough of Taumarunui
commencing at the western boundary of the said borough at
the south-eastern corner of Section N 2E 3G 2D, Block 2,
Piopiotea West Survey District, and proceeding thence gene-
rally in an easterly direction via the Kururau Road and
terminating at the junction with the Tatu-Taumarunui Main
Highway near the north-eastern corner of part Section N
2E 1C, Block 2, Piopiotea West Survey District, being a
distance of 4 chains, more or less; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 159003 deposited in the
office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and
thereon coloured green.
Taumarunui-Ongarue: All that public highway in the
Borough of Taumarunui commencing at its junction with the
Te Kuiti - National Park State Highway near the south-eastern
corner of Section 3, Block 5, Taumarunui Extension No. 1,
Block 2, Piopiotea Survey District, and proceeding thence in
a northerly direction generally via the Gold and Taringamotu
Roads to the Taumarunui County boundary near the western
corner of Section 61, Block 13, Tuhua Survey District, being
a distance of 2 miles 20 chains, more or less; as the same is
more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 159003 de-
posited in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellin-
ton, and thereon coloured yellow.
Also all that public highway in the County of Taumarunui
commencing at the boundary of the said county near the
western corner of Section 61, Block 13, Tuhua Survey Dis-
trict, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly
direction via the Taringamotu and Taringamotu-Mangakahu
roads, thence generally in a westerly direction via the Manga-
kahu Road, thence through the Town of Ongarue via Tuhua,
Taupo, and Ohura Roads and terminating at its junction with
the Te Kuiti - National Park State Highway near the eastern
boundary of Section 77E 3A 2, Block 12, Tangitu Survey
District, being a distance of 23 miles 60 chains, more or less;
as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D.
159003 deposited in the office of the National Roads Board
at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

ROADS COUNCIL DISTRICT No. 6
TE KUITI - NATIONAL PARK: All that public highway in the
County of Taumarunui commencing at the northern boundary
of the said county near the south-eastern corner of
Section 24, Block 1, Tangitu Survey District, and proceeding
thence generally in a southerly direction via the Hiwi, Upper
Ohura, Ohura, Taumarunui - Te Kuiti, and Ongarue roads to
the western boundary of the Borough of Taumarunui near
the north-western boundary of Ohura South N 2E 3G 3, part
Lot 11, B 2 Block, Block 2, Piopiotea West Survey District.
Also all that public highway commencing at the south-eastern
boundary of the Manunui Town Board near the southern
corner of Section 96, Town District of Manunui, Block 2,
Hunua Survey District, and proceeding thence in a southerly
direction generally via the Waitea and Waimarino-Taumarunui
roads and terminating at its junction with the National Park -
Taupo State Highway at Waimarino (National Park) near
the south-eastern corner of Section 6, Block 7, Town of
Waimarino, Block 16, Kaitieke Survey District, being a
distance of 44 miles 76 chains, more or less; as the same is
more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 159003 deposited
in the office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and
thereon coloured black.
Also all that public highway in the Borough of Taumarunui
commencing at the north-western boundary of the said borough
near the north-western boundary of Ohura South N 2E 3G 3,
part Lot 11, B 2 Block, Block 2, Piopiotea West Survey Dis-
trict, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly and
easterly direction via Hakiaha Street, and Taupo Road to the
south-western boundary of the said borough on the right
bank of the Wanganui River near the south-eastern corner of
Subsection 9 of Section 12, Block 31, Taumarunui Native
Township, Block 2, Piopiotea Survey District, being a distance
of 3 miles 24 chains, more or less; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 159003 deposited in the
office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and
thereon coloured black.
Also all that public highway in the Manunui Town Board
commencing at the north-western boundary of the said town
board near the western corner of Section 15, Manunui
Domain, Town District of Manunui, Block 2, Hunua Survey
District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly
direction to the south-western boundary of the said town
board near the southern corner of Section 96, Town District
of Manunui, Block 2, Hunua Survey District, being a distance
of 2 miles 40 chains, more or less; as the same is more par-
ticularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 159003 deposited in the
office of the National Roads Board at Wellington, and thereon
coloured black.

Bylaw Regulating Traffic on the Ngatea Bridge on the
Pokeno-Paeroa via Ngatea State Highway

PURSUANT to section 13 of the National Roads Act 1953 and
section 54 of the Transport Act 1949, the National Roads
Board hereby makes the following bylaw:

BYLAW
-
This bylaw may be cited as the National Roads Board
Bylaw 1959, No. 2. -
This bylaw shall come into force on the day after its
publication in the Gazette. -
In this bylaw “vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in
the Transport Act 1949. -
No person shall drive or take or permit to be driven or
taken any vehicle upon or over the Ngatea Bridge (being the
bridge described in the Schedule hereto) at a speed exceeding
15 miles an hour. -
Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw
is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £20.

SCHEDULE
THE Ngatea Bridge on the Pokeno-Paeroa via Ngatea State
Highway, spanning the Piako River near Ngatea, approxi-
mately 34 miles from Pokeno.
This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting
of the National Roads Board held in Wellington on the 17th
day of June 1959.

hereby given that the declarations of the lands described in
the Schedule hereto as infected areas under the said section
are revoked.

All that area of land situated at or near the Boroughs of
Masterton and Carterton and bounded:
Towards the south-west from the Ruamahanga River to
the Wellington-Masterton State Highway, by Kokotau Road,
Woodlands Road, Nixs Road, Carters Line, and Somerset
Road; towards the north-west from Somerset Road to the
junction of Solway Crescent and Mania Road, by the
Wellington-Masterton State Highway; towards the north-east
from Solway Crescent to South Road, by Mania Road;
towards the north from Mania Road to the Masterton-
Tauweru road, by South Road, Cockburn Street, Colombo
Road, Kuripuni Street, Makora Road, Johnstone Street, River
Road, and the Ruamahanga River; towards the north-east
from the Ruamahanga River to the Taumataria Stream, by
the Mastereton-Tauweru road; towards the south-east from
the Masterton-Tauweru road to Kokotau Road, by the
