Amending a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Portion of the Wellington-Foxton Motorway in Blocks I and II, Paekakariki Survey District, Block III, Kapiti Survey District, and Blocks V and IX, Kaitawa Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke so much of the Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 14th day of March 1956, published in Gazette, 22 March 1956, Volume I, page 376, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 5508, defining the middle line of a motorway in Blocks I and II, Paekakariki Survey District, Block III, Kapiti Survey District, and Blocks V and IX, Kaitawa Survey District (viz, a portion of the Wellington-Foxton Motorway), as defines the middle line of the said motorway between a point marked 6 miles 24·14 chains on the plan marked P.W.D. 143837 referred to therein and the point of termination of the said middle line at the chainage marked 8 miles 59·34 chains on the said plan, and in lieu thereof hereby proclaim and declare that the middle line of the said portion of motorway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto; and I also declare that this Proclamation, in so far as it refers to the substituted middle line, shall affect only that land situated within the limits as defined on the plan marked P.W.D. 159018 referred to in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

COMMENCING on the boundary of Maupoka A 1 and Ngarara West A 6 in Lot 2, D.P. 2241, situated in Block IX, Kaitawa Survey District, at a point marked 6 miles 24·14 chains on plan P.W.D. 159018, being the point marked 6 miles 24·14 chains on plan P.W.D. 143837 on the middle line of the motorway defined in the Proclamation dated the 14th day of March 1956, and published in Gazette, 22 March 1956, Volume I, page 376; proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of about 4 miles 11 chains and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, etc., viz: Part Lot 2, D.P. 2241, being part Ngarara West A 6; part Lot 3, D.P. 2241, being part Ngarara West A, 6 and 59B; part Lot 5, D.P. 2241, being part Ngarara West A 59B; part Ngarara West A, 24A, 57, 58, and 75; all situated in Block IX, Kaitawa Survey District. Part Ngarara West A, 24B, 25A 1A, 25A 1B, 25A 2, 25B 1B, 25B 2, 25C 2; part Lot 1, D.P. 17617, being part Ngarara West A 24B; part Ngarara West A, 26A 2 and 26B; part Lot 3, D.P. 20118, being part Ngarara West A, 37 and 38, and part Kukutauaki 1A, 1B 2, and 1B 3, all situated in Block V, Kaitawa Survey District; and terminating at a point marked 10 miles 35·14 chains on the boundary between Kukutauaki 1B 1 and 1B 2, situated in Block V, Kaitawa Survey District; including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, lakes, rivers, streams, and watercourses. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 159018 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of a Road in Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District—viz, a Deviation of Portion of the Levin-Porirua State Highway

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 17th day of March 1939, published in Gazette, 23 March 1939, Volume I, page 707, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 2786, defining the middle line of a road in Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District—viz, a deviation of portion of the Levin-Porirua State Highway—in so far as it affects Lots 5 and 6, D.P. 6933, being all the land in certificate of title, Volume 824, folio 41, Wellington Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 10th day of December 1924, and published in Gazette, 11 December 1924, Volume III, page 2898, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 1482, defining the middle line of portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway, in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 3 roods 0·53 perches, situated in the City of Lower Hutt, Wellington R.D., being Lots 1 to 3 (inclusive), D.P. 20905, being part Section 50, Hutt District. Balance certificate of title, Volume 387, folio 103, Wellington Land Registry.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 11th day of August 1925, and published in Gazette, 13 August 1925, Volume II, page 2409, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 1544, and the Proclamation dated the 30th day of July 1948, and published in Gazette, 5 August 1948, Volume II, page 975, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3923, defining the middle line of further portions of the Wellington-Napier Railway (Lower Hutt Valley Duplication) in so far as they affect the land described in the Schedule hereto.

PART Section 4, Block XII, Mai Mai Survey District, situated in Inangahua County: Area, 523 acres 1 rood, more or less. Shown on plan No. 113/47 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan 7351.)
