COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for Maori housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of June 1959.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 rood 6·8 perches, situated in Block X, Tauranga Survey District, being Lot 39, D.P. S. 2838, being part Allotment 455, Parish of Te Papa. All certificate of title, Volume 1220, folio 58, Auckland Land Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 30th day of May 1959.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by the Hutt Valley Electric Power and Gas Board under and by virtue of Crown lease, Volume 762, folio 16, Wellington Land Registry, is hereby taken for buildings of the General Government; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of June 1959.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1·34 perches, situated in Block II, Belmont Survey District, Wellington R.D., being part Lot 511, D.P. 17976, being part Section 108, Porirua District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 159039 (S.O. 24359) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Bruce Leonard Newell, of Hurleyville, farmer, under and by virtue of renewable lease, Volume 163, folio 77, Taranaki Land Registry, is hereby taken for post and telegraph purposes (microwave radio repeater station); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of June 1959.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 1 acre and 26·7 perches, situated in Block XIV, Opaku Survey District, Taranaki R.D., being part Section 633, Patea District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158973 (S.O. 8923) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
