Declaring Lands in North Auckland, Taranaki, Wellington,
and Otago Land Districts Vested in the Auckland,
Wanganui, Wellington, and Otago Education Boards as
Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the
Queen

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education
Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the
Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto,
being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, the
land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area
vested in the Wanganui Education Board, the land described
in the Third Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the
Wellington Education Board, and the land described in the
Fourth Schedule hereto being an area vested in the Otago
Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested
in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every
educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases,
encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the
date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
LOT 1, D.P. 34399, being part Puketotara Block, situated in
Block IX, Otamatea Survey District: Area, 3 acres 1 rood
3·6 perches, more or less. All certificate of title, Volume
905, folio 226.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John,
Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in
the First Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the develop-
ment of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River
Power Scheme) and that the Crown land described in the
Second Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I also
declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 25th day of May 1959.

ALL those pieces of Crown land situated in the Whakamaru
Survey District, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

and the Crown land described in the Second Schedule hereto
is hereby set apart for the use, convenience, or enjoyment
of a road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the 25th day of May 1959.
