In the notice releasing land from the provisions of the Maori Affairs Act 1953 (Te Kaha Development Scheme) published in the Gazette, 4 April 1957, No. 27, page 601, for “27 acres 2 roods 36 perches”, read “27 acres 3 roods 38 perches.”

THE notification of the notice entitled “Declaring Land Acquired for a Government Work at Te Puke and Not Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land” and dated the 8th day of May 1959, as published in Gazette, 14 May 1959, No. 27, page 623, is incomplete; and to conform to the notice the notification should read after the figures “1948”, “as from the 18th day of May 1959”.

Declaring Land to be Crown Land

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 2 acres 1 rood 25·7 perches, more or less, situate in Block IX, Rotoma Survey District, being the Maori Land Court subdivision called or known as Tautara 21A 3 Block, and being part of the land in P.R. Volume 74, folio 29. (M.L. Plan 17932.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 12th day of May 1959.

Declaring Lands in North Auckland and Canterbury Land Districts Vested in the Auckland and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

COBHAM, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Auckland Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Canterbury Education Board as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

FIRST SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

PART Allotment 118, Owhiwa Parish, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Whangarei Survey District: Area, 2 acres, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 6/1/1100 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. All certificate of title, Volume 537, folio 239, limited as to parcels and title.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
