A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as road the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also hereby proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Land Proclaimed as Road

ALL that piece of land containing 12·7 perches, situated in Block VI, Okains Survey District, Canterbury R.D., being part Rural Section 24806; coloured orange on plan.

SECOND SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

Road Closed

ALL that piece of road containing 4·7 perches, situated in Block VI, Okains Survey District, Canterbury R.D., adjoining part Rural Section 24806: coloured green on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158810 (S.O. 9147) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

ALL that piece of road containing 3 roods 0·1 perches, situated in Block XI, Huangarua Survey District, Wellington R.D., adjoining or passing through part Section 3; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 158360 (S.O. 24283) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Charles John, Viscount Cobham, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of February 1949, published in Gazette, 24 February 1949, Volume I, page 619, and deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No. 3990, defining the middle line of portion of the Wellington-Napier Railway (portion of Rimutaka Tunnel Deviation) in so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 32·23 perches, situated in Block XIV, Akatarawa Survey District, Wellington R.D., being Lot 4, D.P. 18904, being part Section 221, Hutt District. All certificate of title, Volume 797, folio 3, Wellington Land Registry.
